The news that Rebecca Budig last scenes are this past week has left GH fans saddened.

Budig, who is a longtime ABC soap favorite thanks to her stint as Greenlee on All My Children, had created quite the following on GH, taking Hayden from manipulative con to flawed heroine who found true love and even a surprise pregnancy.

We had invested ourselves in this character, especially after she became Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) sister, and now we wonder why.
