Sick Of Sasha: Should Her Story Be Put On Ice On General Hospital?

Sasha, Sasha, Sasha… How long does she plan to stick around General Hospital — the show, not the hospital? Now that fans know she isn’t really Nina’s long-lost daughter, she’s just a very pretty young woman – with a mysterious resemblance to Nina’s cousin, Britt.

But the story doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) is lying. OK. Nina is oblivious. OK. Valentin is manipulative. OK. So WHAT? Should GH pull the plug on the entire tale? Almost 28,000 voters had something to say about it!

Finish It!
Yes, yes, please, 87% of you beseech. And, while you’re at it, could you tell us what the point of the whole thing was? When viewers thought Kiki (Hayley Erin) was the missing baby all grown up, they were excited for the truth to come out and for the fur to fly!

Nina versus Ava (Maura West) – again – would have been epic! But who cares about Sasha? She’s not even the real McCoy anyway. So expose her, have Nina do her shrieking and Valentin his justifying, and move onto the real daughter. If Sasha is connected to someone else on the canvas? Tell THAT story, not this one.

For 13% of the audience, however, every day Nina doesn’t know the truth and grows more attached to Sasha just makes the story better and richer. Right now, Nina is invested. But, think how much more she’ll be in a year?

The best course to take is to hook Sasha up with oh, say… Valentin, and see what happens then. Sasha not being Nina’s daughter should only be part of the story… after all the other story possibilities have been fully played out.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
