She would just as soon slice you with a cutting remark as she would a scalpel on General Hospital, but that doesn’t stop her legion of fans from loving Dr. Liesl Obrecht — and now the actress who plays the wicked and wacky lady has news about how you can show her character you support her.
Hats Off To Liesl Obrecht
That’s right, according to Kathleen Gati, you can now buy and wear a fabulous hat that lets everyone around you know just which General Hospital character you have decided to support — it says it right on the hat!
The actress posted a picture of herself wearing one, writing the caption, “Are you ‘Team Obrecht’? Get your baseball cap here: http://www.kathleengatifanclub.com/merchandise/” — and there’s also an option to get it autographed by the star.
The cost of the baseball cap is a mere $30, which includes shipping and handling. Also available on the star’s fan club website are various pictures of the GH star, which are all available for purchase — with getting it autographed also an option.

Of course, someone who probably isn’t feeling like she’s Team Obrecht on the moment would be the character’s niece, Nina (Cynthia Watros), as all heck broke out at her recent marriage attempt with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) on Tuesday’s episode.
Deep Betrayal
All Nina knows is that her “beloved” Aunt Liesl was conspiring with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) in the ladies’ room the night before about Sasha not being Nina’s daughter and was overheard by Lulu (Emme Rylan), of all people.
Lulu overheard the deceit and outed the treachery to an unsuspecting Nina. Poor Nina feels like she has nothing now — but at least we know where she can get a great hat! General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
