General Hospital fans saw Alexis give birth to two of her daughters after she’d settled down in Port Charles.
However, her first daughter, Sam (Kelly Monaco), was conceived during a drunken hookup when Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was 16 and getting drunk illegally in roadside bars, then joining a random guy in the back of his car.
That random guy turned out to be Julian (Willaim deVry). He donated bone marrow when his grandson, Danny, was sick, and, one thing led to another, he and Alexis eventually wed.
Then she betrayed him, he held a knife to her throat, she claimed to be pregnant, he was stupid enough to buy it, and the entire Julexis relationship went to hell in a handbasket.
But they still have their fans. So we asked, should Julian and Alexis reunite? Almost 12,000 viewers answered!
Forgive and Forget
So what’s a little attempted murder when you’ve got chemistry to spare, 71% of you wonder.
The fact is, Alexis slept with Sonny (Maurice Benard) knowing he’d killed hundreds of people and would happily go on killing hundreds more. Same goes for Ric (Rick Hearst), though his body count was a lot lower.
If Alexis can forgive that, she should have no trouble forgiving Julian. Especially since he actually is trying to go straight…
Bad Man
No, 29% of the audience counters. Julian is a bad man and he can never be forgiven. Other people can be. Like the serial killer about to marry Liz (Rebecca Herbst). And the hitman who was once married to their daughter.
And the reformed rapist who was elected mayor, and the double-agent who became police commissioner, and… well, you get the picture.
Alexis is a strong, principled woman. She never could and never should forgive Julian, which means they are never, ever getting back together.
