Shipping Shiloh: Do You Want Him To Stick Around General Hospital?

Shiloh has definitely made his presence felt on General Hospital. He reminded Sam of her checkered past. He gave Oscar some hope about his condition. And he showed Kristina that there might be an alternative to life as a mafia princess/whiny entitled wealthy brat.

And we can’t have that. Jason (Steve Burton) resolved to bring the Dawn of Day cult leader down. Which means we know he’ll succeed. But would fans want Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) to stick around after he is issued his hitman smackdown? What over 15,000 viewers had to say:

Bad To the Bone
Jason, Sam, and Sonny (Maurice Benard) say that Shiloh is bad. Ergo, Shiloh is bad, there can be no question about that. And anyone Jason, Sam, and Sonny dislike cannot be allowed to remain in Port Charles, 92% of you decree.

It’s bad enough Julian (Willian deVry) and and Ava (Maura West) are still allowed to walk around unchecked, and that the police haven’t been stopped from their pesky investigations into Sonny’s perfectly legitimate coffee importing business.

But, a criminal like Shiloh? No way! He should be run out of town and never darken anyone’s doorstep again. Killing is too good for him. Port Charles is a safe, family-oriented kind of town. We don’t stand for people like Shiloh here!

Change of Pace
Port Charles is home to a mobster. His acolytes. A reformed serial killer. Heck, in Port Charles, even the “good” guys have a murder or two under their belt. Right, Laura (Genie Francis)?

So, why not Shiloh, a tiny 8% of the audience wonders? He shouldn’t be nearly as hard to reform as some of the others. Plus, he’s sexy. And handsome. And good-looking. And hot. You can never have too many of those folks around.
