General Hospital fans went from barely catching a glimpse here and there of Jon Lindstrom as Kevin to doubling their fun when they learned that not only was Kevin’s twin, Ryan, still alive but that he was being held in a mental institution next door to Carly.
That is, until Ryan got the best of his brother, stuffed Kevin into his own straight jacket, and escaped to take his place in Port Charles.
So, is that a yay or a nay on this Chamberlin twins story? Would you like to see more or less of the pair? Here’s how over 16,000 fans voted.
Stay In Your Lane – Both Of Them
Not really, 79% of you shrug. Ryan is a homicidal nut who decided to fixate on Felicia (Kristina Wagner), of all people, and Kevin romanced Laura (Genie Francis) – primarily off-screen, so the investment in their romance is pretty low.
And now you have to see both of these stories play out at the same time? Maybe if this serves as a way to reunite Kevin and Lucy (Lynn Herring), that would be a fun thing.
But, if it’s just a set up for Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton) to save the day – as they seem to be required to by ABC law, you’ll take a hard pass, thanks.
Double Down
Of course, 20% counter. This is the most interesting story to hit Port Charles in ages! No more namby-pamby Nelle (Chloe Lanier), whose plans changed with the seasons, or Ava (Maura West), who was too busy getting a judgmental jerk to love her.
Ryan is an old school villain who knows how to get things done – and also keeps you on the edge of your seats. Maybe he’ll even knock off Sonny and take his place as the GH Big Bad he was always meant to be.
