After your small, upstate New York town has been ravaged by a weather machine that caused it to snow in the summer, is an earthquake really that big of a deal on General Hospital (GH)?
Most everyone escaped unscathed, but some needed a bit of help to get that way. Take Franco (Roger Howarth), trapped under random debris, with Mike (Max Gail) looking like his only hope for survival.
Luckily, Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Steve Burton) came along. They weren’t too keen on rescuing the man who set Michael (Chad Duell) up to be raped in prison, and led Sam to believe he’d also raped her, and might be Danny’s father. (Right, right, it wasn’t Franco, it was the tumor that did that.)
But, Sam, as we all know, is a con-artist, mob moll saint, and she encouraged Jason to do the right thing. Will she live to regret it? Here’s what over 10,000 fans think:
Let Bygones Be Bygones
It was the tumor, agree 92% of you. Sam shouldn’t blame Franco for doing evil things in the past. He could control himself. Tumor, tumor, tumor.
Sam was right to save Franco because it shows she’s the superior human being, and to demonstrate the power of forgiveness, and, most importantly, to make Franco feel bad about himself.
Now, even Liz (Rebecca Herbst) can’t accuse Sam of living in the past (despite her dumping Franco). Sam wins this round. And possibly many of the next rounds to come.
Never Forgive, Never Forget
Hey, how about all the crappy things Franco has done since the infamous tumor was cut out of his head, remind a minority 7%?
Sam only knows about a few of them, but those should still have been enough to justify her walking away… but maybe sticking around close enough to hear Franco’s death screams.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
