On General Hospital, Dante’s ex-wife is in a coma, and Sam and Jason are on the off-cycle of their never-ending on-again/off-again square dance. Which means both are single, so they might as well mingle. How do almost 5,000 viewers feel about that? We’ve got the votes!
We love them 43% cheer…as friends. He’s a cop-turned-secret agent. She’s a con artist turned mob moll turned media mogul turned private eye. They can go and investigate mysteries together, à la Scooby-Doo, have some fun banter, and look pretty. But that’s where it should end.
A smaller 28% of the audience needs Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) to step away from Sam (Kelly Monaco). Sure, Lulu (Emme Rylan) is in a coma. But is that any reason to give up on the mother of your child?
Lulu’s own mom, Laura (Genie Francis) spent close to a decade doing not much of anything in a mental hospital. But she’s much better now. Lulu will bounce back as well, eventually. And Dante should be there waiting.
Then again, 22% of you find Sam and Dante to be absolutely adorable. They could be good for each other, too. Dante would actually enjoy spending time with her children, which is more than Jason (Steve Burton) ever suggested, and Sam could make him smile again, which between the Lulu in a coma and the brainwashing hasn’t exactly been top of his list.
A last-place 7% need for Sam to step away from Dante. She should be focusing on Jason, and Jason only. He is her life, he is her world, and it doesn’t matter that he has better things to do, she should continue dogging at his heels until he throws her a bone. Any other man is simply a distraction. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
