Rocking the ‘Bott’: Do General Hospital Fans Want More Bobbie and Scott?

Back when she first arrived on General Hospital in the late 1970s, Bobbie knew she’d found the man of her dreams. He was a law student named Scotty.

Sure, he was married to that simpering teenager, Laura (Genie Francis). But Bobbie had a plan to take care of that. She’d bring her brother, Luke (Tony Geary), to town, and he’d… well, we all know what he did.

But that didn’t help Bobbie (Jaclyn Zeman). However, a scant 40 years later, the two seem to have discovered each other again. At least, we think so. We don’t get to see them much. Should we, though? The feelings of over 11,000 fans are nothing to sneeze at!

At Last….
Yes, 67% of you cheer — it’s about time! Bobbie and Scott are adorable together. They’re not some starry-eyed, young lovers, dreaming of a perfect future complete with rose petals and moonlight strolls. They’re two jaded, cynical adults, who’ve had their great youthful passions — Laura for Scott (Kin Shriner), Noah (Rick Springfield) for Bobbie.

They’ve had their more mature soulmates – Dominique for Scott, Tony (Brad Maule) for Bobbie. And they’ve had their kids. Though neither Carly (Laura Wright) nor Franco (Roger Howarth) is much to boast about.

But, hey, yay, Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Serena! What that means is, Bobbie and Scott are adults who know what they want, and what they need. The fans would just like to be a part of that.

Backstage
Who cares, 33% of the audience counters. Scott and Bobbie couldn’t make it work in the last century, so what makes you think they can make a go of it in this one?
