On General Hospital, Rocco finally said it out loud. In the chapel, with Britt of all people, he admitted he was the one who shot Cullum. Not Jason or some shadowy third party, but him. A kid trying to fix something he did not understand, now holding the kind of secret that does not sit still in Port Charles. That one admission didn’t just shift blame. It cracked open the entire version of events the town has been working with.

Key Takeaways

  • Britt now holds information that could expose everything or put lives at risk.
  • Rocco’s involvement may push Britt to act against the villains rather than step back.
  • If the truth gets out, Rocco could become a target, not just face consequences.
  • Jason is effectively cleared, shifting the focus of the story.
  • The narrative now centers on how Rocco ended up in that situation.

Britt Now Has the Truth Nobody Else Does

That revelation puts Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) in a very specific position, and it is not a comfortable one. She already pushed back on working with Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), already told Lucas she could not keep going under those conditions, and now she is holding information that could bring the whole thing down. Or get someone hurt if it leaks the wrong way. Either way, standing still is no longer an option.

But this could be the push she needed. She didn’t want to help Lucas (Van Hansis) anymore because the danger was too great for him. If he swiped her meds at Wyndemere, he could get caught and end up dead.

But knowing Rocco’s (Finn Carr) involvement, she might be motivated to switch gears and get the job done. They would actively be working against the villains, sharing the danger. However, there are two problems: Cullum is on the road to recovery, and Dante’s starting to ask questions. If the truth comes out, Rocco is not just in trouble; he becomes a target of the villainous cadre.

The Story Around Jason Just Broke Wide Open

Britt now has to decide whether she protects the boy, uses the information, or tries to do both and ends up doing neither well. That is not an easy choice. Up till now, the working assumption has hovered around Jason (Steve Burton) being responsible for the shooting.

That’s what Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) can’t quite reconcile, what Lulu (Alexa Havins) is trying to manage, and what the whole situation keeps circling. Rocco’s confession doesn’t just clear Jason. It removes him from that moment entirely and replaces him with something far messier.

So the question isn’t “who shot Cullum” anymore. That part is answered. The question is how a kid got close enough, armed enough, and desperate enough to do it. That’s not Rocco’s problem alone, no matter how this gets framed. And once the complete story is revealed, responsibility’s going to land on people who thought they were safely outside it.
