General Hospital is ending March with a shock…sort of. GH fans assumed from the second he turned up in Port Charles that Nathan wasn’t the true Nathan. Now, Sidwell reveals who he really is on the March 31 2026 episode.
Key Takeaways
- Nathan was summoned to Wyndemere by Sidwell.
- Sidwell asked him to take down Sonny.
- When Nathan fought him on it, Sidwell revealed he’s actually Cassius Faison.
Meet Cassius Faison
When familiar faces return to Port Charles, it’s not a far stretch to assume they’re an evil twin. Anna’s (Finola Hughes) got Alex (Finola Hughes), Jason’s (Steve Burton) got Drew (Cameron Mathison), and now Nathan (Ryan Paevey) has…Cassius (Ryan Paevey).
Nathan’s mystery text was revealed to be from Sidwell (Carlo Rota) when he showed up at Wyndemere and found Port Charles’ top villain mourning his son. But it was Sidwell’s choice of words that let us know this was more than just police business. “I was waiting for you to show up,” Sidwell admitted.

The conversation turned to avenging Marco’s (Adrian Anchondo) death by bringing Sonny (Maurice Benard) down. And when Sidwell suggested Nathan do it “by any means necessary,” Nathan told him that’s not something he would do.
But it was Sidwell’s next statement that dropped a bomb on the audience. “That’s not something that Detective Nathan West would do, but I’m not talking to Nathan West right now…I’m talking to Cassius Faison.”
Nathan/Cassius appeared less shocked and more pointed, like they both know Sidwell should not be outing his true identity. Which begs the question…who is Cassius? Certainly Faison’s (Anders Hove) fourth child that Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) slipped up about, and most likely an evil twin of the still dead Nathan.
General Hospital spoilers for April 1 aren’t fooling anyone with Sidwell’s determination to avenge his son’s death. He’s on the warpath, and it starts with issuing new orders, presumably to Cassius.
Did you assume Nathan was never Nathan?
