Marco Dies On The Table
While Lucas (Van Hansis) was in the OR saving Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) from his gunshot wound, Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) jumped into action to save Marco (Adrian Anchondo) from his stabbings. But when they discovered a laceration where Marco had been bleeding out, it was too late.
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) was the bearer of bad news when she finally saw Lucas after surgery, revealing that Marco was dead. Lucas was forced to say goodbye to the man that he had fallen in love with, and planned on spending the rest of his life with.
Meanwhile, there may have been another man who loved Marco even more than Lucas: Sidwell (Carlo Rota). When Sidwell and Ava (Maura West) got to GH, Isaiah broke it to him that Marco had died. Sidwell’s first thought was to blame Isaiah, calling it payback for everything that happened between them in Africa, but Portia (Brook Kerr) stepped in to assure Sidwell that Isaiah did everything he could have done.
The Fallout
No one knows it was Cullum who stabbed Marco to get him out of the way. When Lucas learns he saved the man who killed his boyfriend, we may see a side of Lucas we haven’t seen before; one centered around revenge.
As for Sidwell, if he learns that Cullum killed his son, Cullum’s life will be over in an instant, much like Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) was. But with the grief fresh over Marco’s death and Cullum’s long recovery ahead, it may be a while until the truth about what happened on this night comes out.
