With a large portrait of Marco (Adrian Anchondo) sitting in the church, everyone gathered to say a final goodbye. Sidwell (Carlo Rota) greeted people as they arrived, including Jordan (Tanisha Harper), one of the people supposedly helping him prove that Sonny (Maurice Benard) is responsible for his son’s murder.
On the other side of Port Charles, while Sonny and Ric (Rick Hearst) got ready to attend the funeral, Carly (Laura Wright) had a warning for his ex-husband. She told him she didn’t want the funeral to turn into a mob war for a heartbroken Lucas’ (Van Hansis) sake.
Sonny Shows Up
Sonny being Sonny, he showed up at the funeral, much to Sidwell’s upset. Sidwell firmly believes Sonny is behind Marco’s death, so seeing his face in the church set Sidwell off into one of his calm rages.
Sidwell approached Sonny and Ric with a warning in his eyes, but it won’t stop there. The confrontation will continue Monday as the April 6 preview teases an angry Sidwell telling Sonny, “You have gotten away with far too much for far too wrong.” It’s highly ironic coming from the man who attempted to kill Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), framed Sonny and Laura (Genie Francis) for murdered, and shot Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) point blank, just to name a few.
