General Hospital often seems more like General Mobsters, as the show’s heroes tend to be organized crime heads and the people who love – and enable – them.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) is the most noble man in town, Carly (Laura Wright) loves with her whole heart, and Jason (Steve Burton) is so awesome that for a while we actually had two of them (Billy Miller).
But, where does that leave Julian (William DeVry)? We know how Sonny – and Joss (Eden McCoy) – feel about him. And we suspect that Julian’s sister, Ava (Maura West), is about to reign Hell down upon her daughter, Kiki (Hayley Erin) and Griffin (Matt Cohen), the man who done them both wrong.
But, in the meantime, Julian is just plugging along, running a bar, dating Kim (Tamra Braun). Has he been defanged? More importantly, has he been reformed? Here’s how over 7.000 feel.
Bad To the Bone
There’s only room for one morally upright mobster in Port Charles, and Julian ain’t it, 57% of you declare.
Sonny will never reform because he doesn’t need to. Sonny is perfect just the way he is. And Julian will never reform because, like The Artful Dodger sang in Oliver, “Once a villain, you’re a villain to the end!” It’s all a ruse. Don’t fall for it!
Path To Redemption
If Luke (Anthony Geary) can be reformed, and Franco (Roger Howarth), then why not Julian, 42% of the audience counters. Commit a crime, flash a killer smile, get the local ingenue to fall for you, reform – it’s the Port Charles way!
Last Words
And then there are the 58 votes strongly on the side of… maybe. And possibly. And it depends. And he’s trying. And maybe he’ll get halfway there. And not quite yet. Of course, we also got a ‘Hope not.’ So tune in tomorrow!
