In the October 15 episode of General Hospital, Lulu and Willow finally had it out over the lawsuit and article. Willow pulled out her usual bag of tricks, which had served her well in her deceitful past. However, Lulu isn’t like others that Willow has threatened because she has the truth on her side.

Key Takeaways

  • Lulu tried to have a civilized conversation with Willow.
  • Willow threatened Lulu in her usual go-to manner.
  • This situation isn’t like others where Willow manipulated the outcome.

Lulu Won’t Back Down as Willow Resorts to Threats

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) was shocked to find Lulu (Alexa Havins) waiting for her in the Quatermaine kitchen nook. Lulu asked Willow to drop the lawsuit, as she insisted she had facts on her side.

They argued about the validity of the article. Willow demanded Lulu print a retraction or she would destroy her. Lulu shut her down immediately, declaring that Sidwell’s (Carlo Rotta) recording was authentic and the truth.

In true Willow fashion, she continued to threaten Lulu as she reminded her that she’s a congresswoman. Willow promised to make Lulu pay for ruining her reputation.

Willow’s Dealt Another Blow

Joe (Jonathan Bennett) arrived in the middle of the argument to question Willow. The latter was furious Joe had again unfairly targeted her and blamed Lulu for spreading lies about her.

Willow bolted after Joe asked her about Jack’s (Chris McKenna) disappearance. She issued more threats to Lulu and Joe as she stormed out in frustration.

That wasn’t the end of Willow’s bad day. At the hospital, Willow visited Curtis (Donnell Turner) to tell him the governor wasn’t returning her calls.

Monet (Blythe Howard) gave Willow an earful about the bad press surrounding her not being good for Curtis. The lawyer instructed Willow to steer clear of Curtis, so she slinked away.

Threats and Demands Won’t Work for Willow This Time

While Willow keeps playing the same old game, the game has changed. Lulu’s article spoke the truth, even if Willow puts on a front that it’s a lie.

The threats toward Lulu and Joe are nothing more than Willow trying to assert some power she thinks she has over everyone because she’s a congresswoman. Willow’s been able to get away with that for a long time, but the walls are closing in on her.

Aside from the truth of the article, Willow’s reputation is now in question, and shining a spotlight on her like never before. Joe and Baines (Alimi Ballard) are now looking into Jack just suddenly going MIA, which will lead to Willow’s connection to him.

Willow has built her power on lies, threats, and blackmail. The issue is that her power and actions are in serious question, and her usual tactics aren’t going to cut it.
