The General Hospital recap features Willow Tait and Nina having a civil conversation for a change.
In this episode, Willow agrees to have a chat with Nina and it seems to go well. Michael also had his own chat with Dex and gave him some reassurance. Drew and Carly had a romantic evening in her house after he told her of his new idea. Also, Molly took her pregnancy test, while Marshall and Portia had a long talk. Finally, Austin tried to warn Ava about Mason but Mason got in their way and creeped Ava out. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
Outside the hospital elevator, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) asked Michael (Chad Duell) to leave her alone for a bit so she and Nina (Cynthia Watros) could talk. Willow told Nina questions about her children were off limits, but she was willing to let her know about the progress with Liesl. Yes, Liesl (Kathleen Gati) is a match, but she needs to still go through tests to know if she is a suitable donor so everything is a waiting game at the moment.

Nina then changed the subject and asked Willow how she was doing. After Willow told her about how tired she is, and how she can’t focus and has no appetite, she also mentioned her nails are now brittle. That prompted Nina to give her a nail varnish she had from Deception that she said does wonders. Willow accepted this gift, but then told Nina that it was Liesl who asked her to talk and who tried to give her a fresh perspective.
Nina was just grateful to have any conversation with Willow at all and thanked her for just talking to her. She was also relieved to hear that Liesl didn’t threaten to withhold her bone marrow if Willow didn’t act nice to Nina.
While Nina and Willow had their chat. Michael snuck up to the roof to talk to Dex (Evan Hofer) as Dex warned him that Sonny (Maurice Benard) is trying to shut him out of the Pikeman shipment. However, when Dex mentioned the chicken piccata and Sonny telling him all about Gloria Cerullo, Michael assured Dex that Sonny really does trust him.
As for Carly (Laura Wright), she balked when Drew (Cameron Mathison) told her that he is willing to make a deal with Ned (Wally Kurth) to not report them for insider trading, and now their relationship could be out in the open. Carly admitted that she likes their secret romance.
At the Metro Court, when Sonny approached Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) about talking to Willow on his behalf, the subject of Carly also came up, as well as insider trading. Just when those two words were mentioned, Nina showed up, and it was a question as to whether she heard them or not.
Austin (Roger Howarth) did his best to tell Ava (Maura West) that Mason (Nathanyael Grey) followed him to Spoon Island the night she clocked Nikolas (Adam Huss) over the head. He also warned her not to go to Sonny for help. That is when Mason interrupted them and became cryptic about what he may or may not know. He even vaguely offered to help them, but Ava wasn’t buying it.
She was even more creeped out when Mason insisted on seeing her phone, so he could put in his contact number, and they could be buddies. Ava was hesitant, but Austin nodded at her to do as his cousin said, so Ava suspiciously complied.
Marshall (Robert Gossett) paid a visit to Portia’s (Brook Kerr) office before his appointment to know the results of his genetic screening. He then thanked Portia for being in his life and giving him the courage to question the diagnosis and get tested. That did not mean he didn’t fear what the doctor might say.
At Charlie’s, Molly (Haley Pullos) told TJ (Tajh Bellow) her pregnancy test was negative, and he said they may not have been financially ready for a baby anyway. When Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) walked in, they quickly stopped talking about it, but alone Molly admitted to Alexis that she really wanted a baby. After Marshall called Curtis to meet him for the test results, TJ admitted to Molly he also wanted a baby, so they decided to go for it.
