Everyone celebrated the Fourth of July at the Quartermaine Mansion as Drew (Cameron Mathison) announced he’s running for Congress. Nina (Cynthia Watros) admitted to Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) that she’s been hooking up with Drew, while Drew and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) shared a close moment that ended in a kiss that Sasha saw. Laura (Genie Francis) filled Mac (John J. York) in on the situation with Heather (Alley Mills), which Portia (Brook Kerr) overheard. James (Gary James Fuller) asked Cody (Josh Kelly) to be his brother after learning about found family, and later when Mac joined Cody to watch the fireworks, Cody confessed that he’s his son.

After their kiss, Willow and Drew tried to convince each other that it was an accident. Michael (Chad Duell) and Nina came to an understanding about Aurora, and Nina later shared a kiss with Drew. Portia tore into Laura about Heather and warned her she wouldn’t go down without a fight. Joss (Eden McCoy), Trina (Tabyana Ali), and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) celebrated The Fourth by the boathouse. When Mac learned why Cody lied, he said he no longer trusts him. Cody later told Maxie (Kirsten Storms) the truth and she assured him that he was part of their family.

When Sasha saw Willow and Drew the next morning, she decided to go confide in Cody. But when he vented about his own problems with Mac, Sasha decided to go admit her part in Cody’s secret to Maxie and Felicia. Sonny (Maurice Benard, who recently revealed the reason he temporarily left GH) went to Carly’s (Laura Wright) to ask if she’ll support him in court with Ava (Maura West) and when he saw Jason (Steve Burton), he questioned if he and John (Adam Harrington) had found anything on him yet. When he later went to Ava’s hotel room and threatened to record him, John walked in.
Episode 15505 AIR DATE: THURSDAY, JULY 11, 2024
John’s presence made Sonny clear out of Ava’s room and John and Ava bonded over a drink. Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez, who recently celebrated a birthday) met with Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) to come up with a plan about the bad press. Felicia tried talking to Cody while Maxie tried talking to Mac, and when that didn’t work, they devised a plan to get the two to see each other. Portia (Brook Kerr) met with Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and revealed her plan to get Laura (Genie Francis) voted out as a mayor so Heather (Alley Mills) wouldn’t go free, while Heather asked Laura to drop the case to free her because she’s worried she may kill again.

Sasha finally confided in Cody over witnessing Willow and Drew kiss. Trina (Tabyana Ali) made a romantic dinner for her parents on the one-year anniversary of Curtis’ shooting. Later, Trina spoke to Laura about the possibility of Heather being freed and revealed she believed she should get justice. Anna (Finola Hughes) made a plan to find evidence against Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) showed up at Jason’s and told him that Jake (Hudson West) got into an art school in Spain and Jason offered to pay his son’s tuition.
