Spoilers for the week of August 12 – August 16, 2024 on General Hospital tease a life-changing confession after a week of devastation across Port Charles.

While everyone gathered at the hospital during Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) emergency C-section, Natalia (Eva LaRue) convinced Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) to leave and get lunch, and the two tried making amends. At GH, everyone learned that the baby didn’t survive, and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) tore into Sonny (Maurice Benard), blaming him for the turn of events. This made Sonny head to the GH roof and contemplate his life. Kristina woke up, but later went unconscious as monitors began to beep rapidly. At the PCPD, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) continued questioning Ava (Maura West), who insisted she never touched kristina. Dex (Evan Hofer) consoled Josslyn (Eden McCoy) before the two spent the night together.
Episode 15523 AIR DATE: TUESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2024
While on the roof, Sonny was visited by Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) ghost, who talked him off the ledge, and Sonny decided to get some help from Kevin (Jon Lindstrom). After Kristina began bleeding internally, she went into surgery and survived the ordeal. Jason (Steve Burton) acquired photos from the accident from Brick (Stephen A. Smith) and offered them to Anna (Finola Hughes), who charged Ava with manslaughter for the baby’s death.
Episode 15524 AIR DATE: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7, 2024
Kevin visited Sonny and gave him the results of a blood test that indicated he had no lithium in his system, despite taking his medication every day. Josslyn woke up in Dex’s bed before later going to her mom’s house. When Donna (Scarlett Spears) asked her sister if she wanted any vitamins, she revealed she’d taken several of her dad’s lithium pills. They rushed to GH and pumped her stomach while Sonny and Jason arrived. Elizabeth assured them Donna would be okay because she had no trace of lithium in her system, and the pills had no medication in them, and that was when Sonny learned he’s been taking placebos. In her jail cell, Ava offered Trina (Tabyana Ali) her forgiveness before being visited by Molly, who read her the autopsy report of her baby. She later was visited by Kevin and overheard him get a phone call about Sonny’s meds. While Molly needed time away from the apartment, TJ (Tahj Bellow) was visited by his family and later broke down after beginning funeral plans and packing up the nursery. Portia (Brook Kerr) broke the news to Trina that Heather (Ally Mills) was on her way to GH for a follow-up.
Episode 15525 AIR DATE: THURSDAY, AUGUST 8, 2024
When Heather (Ally Mills) arrived at GH, Portia tried keeping her away from Trina, but Trina decided to confront her about her part in what happened with Esme (ex-Avery Kristen Pohl). Anna called John into her office and informed him about Ava’s arrest. He later visited her and found out the meds mixup secret was unraveling, so he tracked down the pharmacist behind it. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) offered resources to Kristina, who dreamed about holding her baby and continued grieving the loss. Donna was released from the hospital and after Sonny accused Ava of switching his medication with placebos, he asked Jason to pay her a visit, during which she admitted someone else was behind the placebos, but holding the information hostage would keep her alive.
Episode 15526 AIR DATE: FRIDAY, AUGUST 9, 2024
At GH, Heather confided in Elizabeth about Trina’s visit. Laura (Genie Francis) and Portia spoke about Heather and Laura agreed to drop the case. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) wound up in a stuck elevator with Drew (Cameron Mathison) and when they were freed, Nina (Cynthia Watros) laid into Drew, but later invited him for dinner in her room. Meanwhile, Michael visited Kristina and later asked Willow if she would discuss bereavement with his sister. Kristina asked Sonny to make Ava pay, but Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) warned him not to do anything drastic.
