It was a heartbreaking week for many.
There were secrets unraveling and returns rocking Port Charles, and the General Hospital recap for October 7-October 11, 2024 has it all.
Port Charles saw some major returns as Lucas (Van Hansis) and Laura (Genie Francis, who has returned to GH) came back to town, while someone’s secret may have landed in the wrong hands.

Lucas went to Bobbie’s and was blindsided by seeing Wiley (Viron Weaver) with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). He introduced himself as Wiley’s “Great Uncle Lucas” before Michael (Chad Duell) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) walked in. Lucas took off and Maxie followed her cousin to Bobbie’s (ex-Jackie Zeman) grave. The two chatted about their love lives, reminding everyone about their close bond.
While Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) talked to Violet’s (Jophielle Love) principal about the incident at school, Violet vented to Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and Tracy (Jane Elliot) about it, who each gave her opposing advice about violence.
Robert (Tristan Rogers) broke the news to Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) that Holly (Emma Samms) was back and assured her that she is his future and Holly is his past before Holly showed up to his office.
Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) finally reunited with Aiden (Colin Cassidy) at GH and the two caught up before Aiden finally came out as gay to his dad. Lucky’s feelings were unclear for a moment before he assured Aiden he loved him no matter what. Later, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) showed up and broke the news to Lucky that he isn’t a match for Lulu’s transplant.
After Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jason (Steve Burton) filled Brennan (Charles Mesure) in on almost everything about their trip to Somalia, Anna later showed up at Jason’s office ready to confront him about the kiss.
At the Matro Court, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) spotted a fellow PI spying on Carly (Laura Wright) talking to Lucas. She found out the woman is trying to find out whether Carly is really back together with Sonny (Maurice Benard) or not, while Martin (Michael E. Knight) reminded Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) they needed to prove her innocence by proving Sonny’s guilt.
Elizabeth told Lucky he’s not a match for Lulu and worried about her ex while he apologized to his comatose sister. Rocco (Finn Francis Carr) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) showed up and he broke the news to them before going to Bobbie’s. He demanded everyone leave before trashing the diner in an angry rage.
As Carly joined Brennan in his hotel room, she was followed by Felicia’s P.I. frenemy. When they received a knock on the door, Brennan was able to identify her as a P.I. while Felicia called Carly to warn her. After Brennan wondered who the P.I. was there for, Carly assured him it was for her and he offered to help her out of another jam.
Josslyn (Eden McCoy) walked into the trashed Bobbie’s and found Lucky on the floor. She assumed the diner got robbed, but when he admitted he did it, she lashed out at him, causing him to storm out. When Dex (Evan Hofer) and another officer showed up wondering what happened, Joss assured them it was okay, but that didn’t stop Dex from showing up later to get the real story from her.
Jason’s office was busy when he got visits from both Anna and Lucky, one to discuss their shocking kiss and the other asking for help escaping Port Charles. Jason gave Lucky enough money to leave, but advised him not to. When Lucky went to the GH chapel asking for guidance, Laura walked in.
After Kristina (Kate Mansi) visited Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) in prison, she went to Sonny’s office and told him she needed to confess to help her mom. While he talked to Jason about the missing gun and potentially needing to turn himself in, arrived at Anna’s office with information about the night of the murder.
During Lucky and Laura’s reunion, he broke the news that he can’t be Lulu’s donor and she asked him to stay in town in case they need to say goodbye to his sister.
Diane talked to Jason about getting Sonny to help free Alexis while Michael showed up to Anna’s office before his sister could say too much.
Things later got explosive at the PCPD when Chase (Josh Swickard) informed Anna the station was under a bomb threat. The bomb squad assured them it wasn’t a bomb and Anna opened the mysterious package to find the gun that Alexis disposed of.
At the PCPD, Dex told Dante all about the arrival of the gun, but after he found out Anna’s plan to keep it under wraps, he asked Dante to forget he told him. But after Sonny told Kristina his plan to turn himself in, she immediately went to Dante, who realized exactly what Anna was doing. He wrestled with whether he should be a good cop or a good son, and when Sonny showed up to confess, Dante arrived needing to talk to his dad.
Meanwhile, at GH, when Brad (Parry Shen) caught up with Cody (Josh Kelly), Portia (Brook Kerr) saw and put him on notice. Later, Elizabeth asked him to research GH’s faulty Heather (Alley Mills) blood test for Ric’s (Rick Hearst) investigation and discovered what Portia did.
Another catch-up at GH happened between Ava (Maura West) and Lucas, who bickered over his father, but ended on a steady note.
