Someone hopped into the wrong bed, while another is never getting out of theirs, and the General Hospital recap for October 28-November 1 covers every second of last week’s drama.
Port Charles was full of twists and turns and a devastating goodbye.
READ THIS: Here’s what’s coming up on GH.
Cody (Josh Kelly) didn’t handle learning the truth about Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) well, and found himself drunk at the same bar where Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) went. He decided to take his anger out on Drew by revealing to everyone in the bar that he’d be sleeping with Nina while making out with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) in between the two throwing punches.
After reuniting with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Steve (Scott Reeves) convinced Heather (Alley Mills) to go to Arizona with him. But when Heather convinced everyone to let her say goodbye to Ace, she secretly promised her grandson that she would be back.
Determined to track down Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez), Anna (Finola Hughes) enlisted Jason’s (Steve Burton) help, who called Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to do some cyber digging.
Holly (Emma Samms) told Sasha she gave up any chance she had with Robert (Tristan Rogers) so Sasha would know the truth, then offered her a chunk of her upcoming payday, but Sasha turned her down and went to the bar.
When Drew got home from the bar, he was bombarded by blackmail from Ned (Wally Kurth) and Tracy (Jane Elliot) over the big reveal, while Nina warned Willow her secret was out. Before Willow could speak with Michael (see what fans had to say about Chad Duell’s temporary recast in this episode) alone, Drew confessed to him in front of everybody.
GH was full of emotional conversations as Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) admitted to Laura that he requested an emergency passport to leave Port Charles, while Sam got out of surgery and was visited by Dante, who pulled out a ring and proposed.
After Sasha woke up in a strange bed, she noticed Michael (Chad Duell) asleep beside her and remembered their drunken night together. Michael didn’t regret it, especially after Sasha let it slip that Willow had kissed Drew more than once.
While Willow confronted Drew over his decision to tell Michael, a hungover Cody confided in Maxie (Kirsten Storms) about what happened at the bar.
While Dante told Rocco (Finn Francis Carr) that he proposed to Sam, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) visited her post-surgery and found out she was engaged. Things took a shocking turn at GH when Jason brought Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and Scout (Cosette Abinante) to visit their mom and noticed Portia (Brook Kerr) and Elizabeth rushing to Sam’s room. He sent the kids to Bobbie’s before Alexis told him Sam became unreaponsive.
In Sam’s room, Lucas (Van Hansis), Portia, and Elizabeth all tried reviving Sam, spending an entire 30 minutes on her until they finally had to call it and Lucas declared her time of death 5:48PM.
While Drew paid Cody for his silence, Michael went home to Willow, forgave her, and hopped into bed with her.
When the doctors broke the news of Sam’s death to Alexis and Jason, Alexis first went into denial before holding her deceased daughter and wondering why it was Sam and not her. She later pressed Portia for information about what happened and Dante and Rocco showed up, overhearing Alexis saying her daughter was dead.
In Sam’s room, Jason said goodbye, remembering his relationship with Sam through flashbacks.
Dante and Rocco learned Sam died, then Laura (Genie Francis) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) walked into GH to see them upset and worried something happened to Lulu. They all found out Sam died from a heart attack, then Dante visited Sam to say goodbye.
Carly (Laura Wright) found an upset Jason and he told her what happened. She offered to tell Drew, while Jason had the unfortunate task of breaking the news to Danny and Scout. He later brought Scout to see Drew, and both fathers assured their kids that they were there for them.
As for Alexis, she found Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) arguing and ordered them to stop before informing them their sister had died.
Being Halloween night, Maxie’s household got ready to trick or treat, and when Georgie decided not to go, her parents convinced her to and she dressed up as as Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century, a nod to Maxie’s portrayer’s iconic Disney Channel character.
