READ THIS: Here’s what’s coming up on GH.
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) Was just about to warn Sonny (Maurice Benard) about the gun when Martin (Michael E. Knight) showed up demanding answers from Anna (Finola Hughes) about the new evidence. Once Sonny found out, he held off on confessing, and everyone gathered in the courtroom for Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) hearing, where the judge dismissed the case.
Dex (Evan Hofer) had another friendly conversation with Molly (Kristen Vaganos), while Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) vented to Terry (Cassandra James) about Lucky (Jonathan Jackson).
After Brad (Parry Shen) discovered what Portia (Brook Kerr) did to Heather’s (Alley Mills) test results, he informed Portia of what he knew. She agreed to let him keep his job past his trial period if he kept quiet.
Ned (Wally Kurth) suggested to Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Michael (Chad Duell) that they assign all of their children ELQ shares and make him the proxy, and when Drew declined, he asked Michael to take over ELQ when he’s in office. Cody (Josh Kelly) told Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) about his desire to buy his childhood home and turn it into a ranch, and wondered if Tracy (Jane Elliot) would consider lending him the money for it.
When Tracy attempted to sue Violet’s (Jophielle Love) school, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) shut it down, but Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) later told her she assumed Tracy was focusing on Violet because she couldn’t help Lulu. Laura got visits from Martin and Cyrus (Jeff Kober) before Elizabeth told her they’d found a match. Dante and Sam (Kelly Monaco) spent time together during Dante’s leave of absence when Sam received a call from Terry.
At GH, Terry informed Sam she was the match while Dante watched as Lulu began crashing.
In Terry’s office, Sam was stunned to find out that she was a match for Lulu. She expressed regret for not getting tested earlier, but Terry assured her that it was amazing she had been tested at all. Sam had to decide if she would undergo the secondary screening to confirm her ability to donate. She immediately agreed but chose not to inform Dante until she was sure the transplant would happen.
At the hospital, after stabilizing Lulu, Portia asked to speak with Liz and Isaiah. Liz told an anxious Dante to stay in Lulu’s room, assuring him she would update him soon. Outside, Isaiah explained that while he was checking on Lulu, he discovered that her ventilator had stopped working. Liz confirmed she helped him until they could replace it. Portia praised Isaiah for his quick actions but reminded him that he wasn’t on the hospital’s staff. Liz emphasized that without Isaiah, Lulu might not have survived.
Jordan arrived and was surprised to hear that Isaiah had saved Lulu. Isaiah explained that the ventilator had failed, but Portia insisted on investigating, as such equipment failures were rare. After Liz and Portia left, Isaiah asked Jordan out to dinner, jokingly offering it as repayment for saving his life. They bantered before leaving together.
Elsewhere, Portia and Liz continued to discuss the unusual ventilator failure. Portia planned to contact the vendor, fearing a potential lawsuit, while Liz worried that Lulu’s condition was dire. If Sam’s liver wasn’t suitable for donation, Lulu might not survive.
Later, Sam came to Dante, tearfully revealing, “It’s me. I’m the match. I can save Lulu.”
On the steps of the Quartermaine mansion, Sasha questioned her mother, Holly, about her unexpected arrival. Suspicious, Sasha assumed Holly was there to drag her into another one of her scams. Holly denied this and insisted she was there to save Sasha from disaster. Sasha, already struggling at work, warned her mother not to add to her problems.
Holly entered the mansion and was shocked to find out that Sasha worked as a cook for the Quartermaines. Assuming her daughter was conning the family, she was surprised when Sasha explained that she had a legitimate job. Sasha reminded Holly of the trouble she’d caused throughout the years, particularly when she left her with a shady man named Vickers in Llanview. Holly defended herself, explaining that she had to help Ethan. Sasha, frustrated, shouted that Ethan was always in trouble and that she had been relieved when her grandmother, Nona, had taken her in.
Holly admitted she had not been the mother Sasha deserved but wanted to prevent her from making a grave mistake now. She revealed that Cody, whom Sasha had fallen for, was actually her cousin. Shocked, Sasha accused Holly of lying and manipulating her. Holly explained that she had kept the truth about Sasha’s father hidden to protect her, revealing that both Robert and Mac Scorpio were involved. Holly further explained that Robert had enemies, and she had to keep Sasha safe.
Sasha refused to believe her, thinking it was all part of another scam. Despite Holly’s protests, Sasha demanded she stay out of her life and away from Cody.
Lucky woke up and headed downstairs at Laura’s place, where he found Liz. Unsure if he was in the right apartment, he asked for confirmation. Liz updated him on Sam and Lulu’s surgeries and reassured him that he wasn’t responsible for Lulu’s condition. Lucky admitted he had been consumed with guilt over the possibility of his choices leading to her current state. Liz reminded him that life was full of both sad and good days, encouraging him to focus on the present. After thanking her, Lucky realized Liz wasn’t there just for him; she was also babysitting Ace.
Liz brought Ace down, and they chatted about how Ace reminded Lucky of Aiden at that age. They reminisced about Aiden’s love for music, something he inherited from Lucky. Soon, the new babysitter arrived, and Liz had to leave for work. Before she left, she urged Lucky to reconnect with Aiden through music and to talk about how he had grown. Lucky agreed, and Liz offered him a ride to the hospital, joking about the days when he used to serenade her.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Chase and Brook Lynn told Violet that she’d be moving back home with her dad, who had gotten a job in Seattle. Though Violet was excited about the move, she grew sad at the thought of being far from Chase and Brook Lynn. Chase comforted her by suggesting they split her two favorite stuffed animals so they’d always have a piece of each other. Gio arrived to help Violet pack and offered advice on adjusting to a new school, having moved around frequently himself.
In the living room, Brook Lynn became emotional, realizing how attached she had grown to Violet. She expressed her sadness to Chase, who comforted her, acknowledging they were both struggling with the transition. Though Violet would be with her father, they knew she would always have a place in their hearts.
