After being woken up, Michael told Carly (Laura Wright) that he wanted to go to the facility in Germany. Then he asked to see Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). While Carly went to find her, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) went into Michael’s room to apologize for everything that had happened between them. But when Michael’s pain suddenly worsened, Portia (Brook Kerr) was forced to sedate him before Sasha could arrive. Later, as the jet prepared to take Michael to Germany, Brennan (Charles Mesure) was there to see Carly off.

At the PCPD, when Anna (Finola Hughes) got nowhere with Tracy (Jane Elliot), she recruited Jason (Steve Burton) for help. Jason found Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Willow together in the GH chapel, hoping to make a deal that would please everybody.

Elsewhere, Sasha confided in Maxie (Kirsten Storms) about her complicated feelings surrounding motherhood as she grieved Liam but looked forward to having another baby. Meanwhile, Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had an intense encounter with Ava (Maura West) at the pier. Later, Alexis met with Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and handed over paperwork related to his new home of Wyndemere.

Ava showed up at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) office and worried that their daughter could suffer the same fate as Michael. After their heated exchange, Ava left, and Sonny suffered another AFib episode, causing him to collapse before he could take his medication.

At the re-opening of Charlie’s, Kristina and Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) cheersed to their first night working together before Kristina welcomed Maxie, Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), and Brick (Stephen A. Smith). Lucky greeted Elizabeth and Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson). Jordan (Tanisha Harper) arrived to meet Isaiah, which only made Brick jealous.

Meanwhile, at Sonny’s office, Natalia found him unconscious on the floor and his spilled bottle of pills. With some quick thinking, she read the bottle and popped a pill into his mouth, which managed to revive him. Despite her attempts to get him to the hospital, Sonny insisted he couldn’t go and instead asked her to call Isaiah. When Isaiah arrived — giving Brick some alone time to flirt with Jordan — he warned Sonny that his heart condition would worsen without proper medical attention.

Back at Charlie’s, Lucky and Elizabeth took the opportunity to ask Martin (Michael E. Knight) some questions about his brother, and he revealed that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) had always wished to ease their mother’s suffering, sparking a new theory about why Cyrus was offing GH patients. Meanwhile, when Cody (Josh Kelly) showed up and spotted Spinelli, he tried demanding $75,000 in hush money from him after dangling the secrets of Spinelli’s dating app over him. Spinelli refused, which led to Cody escalating things. When Lucky intervened, he wound up on the opposite end of Cody’s fist.

At the PCPD, Lulu (Alexa Havins) visited Tracy while Jason made Willow an offer, suggesting she could have the kids back if she moved back into the gatehouse. This compromise led to Tracy’s charges being dropped just as Cody was hauled in.

While Elizabeth tended to Lucky’s wounds, Cody decided to wise off to Molly (Kristen Vaganos) from his jail cell and refused to pay for damages to Charlie’s because he’s broke. When Mac (Josh J. York) showed up, he gave his son a lecture but left him to remain in the cell in order to do some thinking. While Lucky and Elizabeth asked Felicia (Kristina Wagner) more questions about Cyrus, Lucas (Van Hansis) shared the theory with Josslyn (Eden McCoy) but warned her not to do anything that could end in trouble.

At Sonny’s room at the Metro Court, Brick managed to find Sonny a discreet doctor in Los Angeles to help with his heart problem, while Natalia found her worried self unable to stay away from Sonny.

Ric (Rick Hearst) showed Ava (Maura West) her only option for housing: a small, rundown apartment. She initially turned it down, but Ric reminded her she had no money. Their back and forth ended in a kiss and Ava accepted the apartment.

The re-opening was still going on at Charlie’s. Lucy (Lynn Herring) was joined by Sidwell, who caught Jordan’s eye. Jordan took this information straight to Laura (Genie Francis), and after some digging, the two learned that Sidwell had no outstanding warrants for his arrest. Later, Laura got a request from Lucy to meet with Sidwell.

With Willow back at the gatehouse, Nina decided to bring breakfast to her, and that was when Tracy stormed in to lay down some ground rules. The number one rule was no Drew. Both Willow and Nina stood their ground, and the encounter made Willow wonder if she and the kids would be better off at Nina’s. Meanwhile, Drew tried convincing Curtis (Donnell Turner) to let him back at Aurora, but Curtis turned him down flat and kicked him out of his office.

Over in Germany, Carly was surprised when Brennan showed up at her door to check on her. She revealed that the doctors wouldn’t let her see Michael because he needed to stay in isolation as he began his recovery, and Brennan offered her some comfort.

Back in Port Charles, Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) learned that he would never be able to play football again after his shoulder injury. He shared the life-changing news with Trina.

At Deception, Maxie stepped in as a mediator when Lulu and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) worked to make amends. Lulu realized the assistant job wasn’t for her, but as soon as Tracy showed up and found out, she instantly hired her, which prompted a look of jealousy from Brook Lynn.

On the villain front, Laura had Anna join her for her meeting with Sidwell, where he was not only surprised to see the woman he tried to kill but also learned that Lucky is Laura’s son. He assured them he would stay on his best behavior now that he lived in Port Charles. Meanwhile, Joss decided to sign up to volunteer at Turning Woods with hopes of catching Cyrus in the act.
