The General Hospital recap features Valentin all in his feels with Anna Devane, but it seemed to do the trick.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
In this episode, Anna’s surgery ended and Valentin was relieved to be able to see her but not before he lost it on Portia for not having information for her. Curtis paid a visit to his wife and alarmed her about Trina, while Trina and Spencer came up with a plan to get away from Victor. Laura also did some thinking and realized where Victor was likely headed. Finally, Willow resigned herself to die again as she decided she had to get married right away. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
General Hospital Recap: Anna Devane Will Survive
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) was losing his mind at General Hospital, demanding updates on Anna (Finola Hughes) while being sure something went wrong. As he gave Portia (Brook Kerr) a hard time, Curtis (Donnell Turner) showed up and put a stop to Valentin berating his wife. At least Portia was soon able to tell Valentin that Anna was out of surgery and could have visitors. When Valentin entered Anna’s room, she was still unconscious and hooked up to machines, but Valentin took her hand so he could be in his feels and cry while he begged Anna to return to him.

He promised her that Victor would pay for all he has done and that seemed to be enough to bring Anna back among the living as she finally opened her eyes.
GH Recap: Curtis and Portia Worry
With Valentin off to visit Anna, Curtis asked Portia if she’d seen Trina (Tabyana Ali) lately, which was quite alarming to her mother. Curtis was concerned when Portia told her she couldn’t find Trina the night before. Curtis explained about Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) kidnapping Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Ace, so Portia called Trina, and the phone went straight to voicemail. Her texts also didn’t go through. When Portia saw Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) standing in front of her, she knew Trina was definitely in trouble. Dante had already been through the text and voicemail problems when he visited Josslyn (Eden McCoy) looking for her roomie.
Laura (Genie Francis) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) also fretted over Anna and Laura flashbacked to the time that she was trapped on The Haunted Star during the first Ice Princess story, as she wondered if history was repeating itself with her grandsons. Laura wondered if she knew a tidbit from that time that would help her figure out exactly what Victor was really up to. After some hard thinking, Laura remembered a compound near Venezuela that could only be reached by boat.
GH Recap: Sprina’s Adventure On The Haunted Star
Trina made her way back to Spencer’s stateroom to announce she might have found a way off the boat. She explained that she saw a bunch of maps of the ship in a utility closet, which led her to the communications room. However, she had to quickly leave when someone approached. Soon, she and Spencer made a plan for her to get back into the room and radio for help. When they heard Victor in the hallway, Trina quickly hid under the bed, and Spencer pretended to be showering.
When Victor walked in, he noticed the bolt had been tampered with, but Spencer played innocent. Spencer still insisted to his uncle that he didn’t take orders from him. Victor warned him that Valentin already knew what he would do when crossed and didn’t want Spencer to learn that same lesson. Spencer then tempted Victor with the prospect of him cooperating so Victor would let him out of his room for breakfast. When Victor left, Trina came out of hiding, and they went over their plan. He would cause a diversion in the dining room so she could get to the communication room. Before putting the plan into action, Spencer told Trina she was the best thing that ever happened to him, and Trina kissed and then assured him that their story wasn’t over yet.
General Hospital Recap: Willow’s Wedding Dreams
Josslyn opened her dorm room door to find Carly (Laura Wright) standing there to tell her that Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) transplant had been delayed. Joss was shocked to hear what happened to Liesl but was more concerned about talking about Dex (Evan Hofer). She could barely believe Sonny had known about her and Dex for months and really didn’t care. She then mentioned that Dex saved Sonny’s life and was shot. This news almost sent Carly over the edge cause it was unfathomable to her that Sonny’s new enforcer would get shot, so Joss changed the subject back to Willow.
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) were both at the guest house to support Willow on her big day that looks like it won’t be a big day after all. Michael (Chad Duell) remained confident that Liesl would be found, but Willow didn’t look so sure. When Willow was alone with her friends, they tried to get her to vent. Willow did not quite vent, but she did quietly admit she was not confident Liesl would be found in time to save her. She said she was holding onto hope but it was becoming harder with each setback. That said, Willow was ready to begin planning a deathbed wedding again, and Sasha and Brook Lynn couldn’t wait to help.
At the Port Charles Police Department, Jordan, and Dante continued their search for The Haunted Star with no luck. Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) interrupted them to give a statement about the alleged bracelet theft, but neither one of them wanted to hear her. Dante then paid a visit to Cody (Josh Kelly) in the interrogation room to see what really happened with that bracelet at the Nurses Ball.
Cody insisted he was innocent, and Dante told him he really didn’t have time to help, but Sam (Kelly Monaco) did, and was the next to arrive in the room. Once alone, Cody insisted to Sam that he’d been set up by Gladys. However, when Sam asked why he believed this, he said he wanted his kneecaps to stay in one piece, and Sam knew Cody was being threatened. Cody was only willing to tell Sam that this was all about Sasha but refused to say why. Sam agreed to bail him out and then gave a warning to Gladys.
