In the November 6 episode of General Hospital, the PCPD remained focused on pinning Jack’s murder on Carly and Valentin. New doctor in town, Tristan, had a conversation with Willow that made him realize the PCPD and WSB were so off base, and he headed to the police station.

Key Takeaways

  • Tristan clocked Ava and Drew together.
  • Molly and Dante pushed Carly to turn on Valentin.
  • Tristan realized that the WSB and PCPD had gotten it wrong.

A Flip Switches for Tristan

At the newly redesigned Metro Court, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) met with Tristan (Dean Geyer) to get an update on Nina (Cynthia Watros). Willow admitted she was wrong for her bad attitude earlier.

Tristan revealed that Nina appreciated the lipstick before the conversation turned to Willow’s excitement over Carly (Laura Wright) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) being arrested for Jack’s (Chris McKenna) murder. Willow firmly believed Nina would be home soon as she expressed that Valentin and Carly were beyond guilty.

Little did she know at the time that Tristan had clocked Ava (Maura West) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) with their heads together. The more Willow claimed Jack’s murder had been solved and Nina needed to be freed, the more Tristan focused on Drew and Ava. When Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) asked to talk to Willow, Tristan abruptly left.

The PCPD Focuses on Carly and Valentin

Meanwhile at the police station, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) were laser-focused on getting Carly to turn on Valentin. Carly was adamant that she wasn’t committing perjury because neither she nor Valentin killed Jack.

Alone, Carly encouraged Molly to look at other suspects, prompting Carly to flashback to Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) revealing he and Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) saw Drew and Ava at the Metro Court hotel the night Jack was killed. Carly kept quiet, but she wasn’t the only one with Ava and Drew on the brain.

Outside the interrogation room, Tristan stormed into the PCPD demanding to speak with Dante. When the police commissioner showed up, Tristan bluntly told him the PCPD had arrested the wrong people in Jack’s murder.

More to Tristan’s WSB Skills Than Meets the Eye

The PCPD has been notoriously wrong when it comes to solving cases; it is the soap way. Joe (Jonathan Bennett) once had his eyes on Ava in Jack’s murder but deviated when he caught Valentin and Carly at the nature preserve with Jack’s dead body.

For some reason, Tristan ran with his instinct that the cops should be looking at someone else. The question is, what tipped him off about the despicable duo of Ava and Drew?

Port Charles residents know these two being together isn’t normal or a good thing. In fact, the two of them suddenly being a dynamic duo should have tipped off the PCPD.

However, Tristan’s new to town and doesn’t really know any of the players involved in Jack’s murder, or does he? The doctor has protested so much that he’s done with the WSB, but based on his recent actions, that may not be the case.

Whatever raised red flags for Tristan regarding Drew and Ava doesn’t mean they are about to be busted. Dante has to be convinced that Tristan is right, and that won’t be easy without concrete evidence.
