In the August 26 episode of General Hospital, several Port Charles residents had Jack on the brain, and one of them even came for him. Jack was one hot topic, which has signaled that those rumors about Chris McKenna just might be true.

Key Takeaways

  • Jack had everyone talking about him.
  • Nina had an outburst that made a lightbulb go off for Drew.
  • The hate for Jack pointed to one thing.

Port Charles Has Jack on the Brain

Jack (Chris McKenna) tried to get information on Anna (Finola Hughes) from Felicia (Kristina Wagner. In true Felicia fashion, she gave him nothing as she hit back at him for asserting his WSB power.

When Felicia left Jack, she visited Carly (Laura Wright) to get information about him. Carly was brutally honest as she declared Jack lured Josslyn (Eden McCoy) into the WSB.

Carly and Felicia bounced their disgust for Jack off each other. Felicia encouraged Carly to protect Josslyn at all costs, which led Carly to ask where Jack was.

Meanwhile, Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) and Tristan (Dean Geyer) talked about Jack after Felicia stormed out. Tristan pointed out that Jack was in the thick of the WSB chaos and made questionable decisions in the name of the bureau.

Nina Puts a Target on Her and Jack’s Back

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) wasted no time letting Nina (Cyntha Watros) know she had intel to blackmail Jack. Nina heard the recording and begged Willow to delete it, but her plea fell on deaf ears.

Once she realized Willow was determined to use the recording against Jack, Nina made a beeline for him. Nina went into crazy overprotective mode and demanded he get in line, aka get dirt on Michael (Rory Gibson) for Willow, or else.

Jack called out Nina, as he had many times before, insisting she would pay for turning a blind eye to her daughter. The comment riled Nina up. She loudly threatened Jack as Drew (Cameron Mathison), Jordan (Tanisha Harper), Carly, Isaiah, and Tristan looked on.

Everyone Coming For Jack Can Only Mean One Thing

A few weeks ago, the rumor mill began swirling that McKenna was out as Jack and that the character would be killed off. The most recent episode certainly appeared to support that theory.

Not only that, but the GH preview video teased Drew asking Ava (Maura West) to distract Jack while he searched his room. Based on Nina’s outburst and threat in front of so many people, the signs point to the end of Jack, or, at the very least, something bad happening to him.

In the soap world, when one character has so many people hating on them, it tends to mean a major twist is coming. Adding more fuel to the fire, Jack’s days may be numbered was the look on Drew’s face as Nina threatened Jack.

It was as if Drew was about to kill two birds with one stone, doing something to Jack and framing Nina. Whatever he was thinking it was crystal clear that Drew would somehow find a way to use the public outburst to his advantage.
