The Hook Is Back To Get Austin Gatlin-Holt

The General Hospital recap features Austin Gatlin-Holt trying to come to Ava and Felicia’s rescue, but Heather The Hook had something else in mind.

In this episode, Ryan was tickled pink to find both Ava and Felicia at Wyndemere as they taunted him and he taunted them. Austin showed up and kept himself quiet and hidden, but then turned around to find a hook above him. Jordan found and rescued Mac and they were both shocked to learn that Ryan, Heather, and Esme escaped. At the Metro Court, Portia was forced to tell Taggert and Curtis that one of them might or might not be Trina’s dad. Finally, Anna and Valentin continued their plan to gaslight Eileen. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

Ryan Chamberlain Is Back In Action; Austin Gatlin-Holt Spies A Hook

Ava (Maura West) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) hoped it was Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) they saw at the Wyndemere door, but their worst fears came true when they realized Ryan (also Jon Lindstrom) was there. He admitted he had been faking locked-in syndrome the entire time, but the women enjoyed knowing they were able to taunt him at Spring Ridge, and he had no choice but to keep his cover. Ryan then tortured Ava with talk of Kiki and tried to make Felicia believe he killed Mac (John J. York).

Thankfully, Jordan (Tanisha Harper) found Mac on the side of the road, and she got him to General Hospital to get checked out. When Laura (Genie Francis), Jordan, and Mac learned that Ryan had escaped with Heather and Esme, Mac called Felicia, and Ryan picked up on speakerphone but would not allow Felicia to speak.

Ryan then said he had to decide which woman would die and which one would come with him just as Austin (Roger Howarth) walked into the foyer and quietly tried to phone for help. However, when he turned around, a hook appeared to tell us that Heather (Alley Mills) was back in action.

Meanwhile, Maggie explained to Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that a broach left with Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) as a baby that belonged to Ryan’s first victim, Connie, led Esme to believe that Ryan was her father. Dante called Jordan and relayed the news as she passed it on to a stunned Laura.

At the safe house, Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) relaxed by doing yoga but also grew a bit concerned about Felicia when she didn’t show up as planned. However, Valentin’s contact came through and allowed them to tap into Eileen Ashby’s (Heather Mazur) phone so Anna could haunt her some more.

Eileen had already tried once again to get out of her deal with Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) and was more scared than ever when she received the call. As for Victor, he was shocked to learn that Nikolas (Adam Huss) had left town and that Esme had escaped, something he quickly told Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). He soon gave orders to have Nikolas found right away while also trying to locate Anna and Lucy’s (Lynn Herring) bodies. Little does he know that the wool is being pulled over his eyes.

General Hospital Recap: A Nightmare For Trina And Portia

Trina (Tabyana Ali) didn’t mince words and came right out and told Taggert (Réal Andrews) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) that Curtis could be her dad and that Portia (Brook Kerr) had been lying for 20 years. She ran from the room tired of it all, and Taggert followed her. He assured her that he would always be her father no matter what a DNA test might say. Soon, Spencer showed up with news about Esme, and Trina insisted they go somewhere together. Spencer was more than happy to oblige.

In her hotel room, Portia explained to Curtis that he had left her and wanted nothing to do with her, so when she learned she was pregnant, she just wanted to have a family with Taggert and didn’t even know if Curtis would want to be a father. Curtis believed he should have been given the option to decide that for himself and then asked why Portia lied for the last two years. Portia told him that Trina was already happy with the dad she had, and when they thought Taggert was dead, she didn’t want to take Taggert away from her even more.
