It was easy to wonder if Sonny hadn’t been set up for the attack on Sidwell. There are plenty of people who want revenge on Sonny, including Sidwell, and GH fans now know Sonny’s innocent.
The problem is that doubt has already been raised against Sonny. Justine has tried to defend him without giving away her feelings, but Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) doubted Sonny from the second he heard about Sidwell and Curtis.
Sonny has his work cut out for him to prove he didn’t order the hit on Sidwell, especially when someone Sonny thought he could trust turned against him. Aside from Ric, Jason (Steve Burton) will believe Sonny and likely Carly (Laura Wright), too.
The rest of Port Charles won’t be as easily swayed. Sonny has a major problem on his hands as he tries to prove his innocence. Staying out of the mob just got a whole lot harder for Sonny.
