General Hospital Recap Highlights
In this episode, the Nurses Ball came to a close and did so with Lucy, but there was also high drama as Spencer heeded Victor’s call, and Cody found himself under arrest. Nina was frantic when Liesl couldn’t be found and worried about Willow. Away from the ball, Anna was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and had to have surgery, while Laura realized that Victor was after Ace. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
General Hospital Recap: Lucy Coe Brings Danger
After Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) shot Anna (Finola Hughes) in the abdomen, she lay on the floor bloodied and gasping for air, but she told Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) he had to go after Victor. Of course, he didn’t want to leave her and insisted on getting her to the hospital. As they waited for the ambulance, Anna told Valentin she loved him for the first time but then lost consciousness.

Laura (Genie Francis) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) met Valentin at General Hospital, and he told her she coded in the ambulance. The doctor insisted she had to have surgery as Laura realized that Victor would go after Ace next. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) was at home watching the ball on TV and had already told her how protective she feels of Ace because she thinks everyone wants to take him away from her. When Laura rushed back, she found her place broken into, Esme unconscious on the floor, and Ace’s pacifier in the hallway.
General Hospital Recap: Lucy Coe Makes A Grand Entrance
Lucy (Lynn Herring) actually made it to the Metro Court, but Victor’s goon was right behind her with a gun and tried to take her. Lucy used her considerable skills and beat the goon with a feather boa, but then Sonny (Maurice Benard) came along and finished the job. Lucy then made her way to the stage.
When Carly introduced Bobbie to close the show and celebrate Bobbie’s 45 years as a GH nurse, we got a series of flashbacks. Bobbie then paid a slide show tribute to Lucy, talking about how the Nurses Ball transformed her. All of this prompted Lucy to show her face, shocking everyone when she crashed through the giant image of herself and fell on the floor. But when Lucy stood back up, even she was shocked when she got a standing ovation from the crowd.

GH Recap: Victor’s Other Dastardly Plans
Victor boarded The Haunted Star and told his goon that he knew Holly (Emma Samms) was perfectly fine and looking for her son so he decided to have Ethan moved. He was thrilled his plan was coming together as he put away the necklace for safekeeping.
At the Ball, Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) knew he messed up big time with Trina (Tabyana Ali) and tried to make it up to her, but when Victor’s call came, and he actually stopped their conversation to take it, she was livid. Victor told him to get to the Haunted Star now. Trina wanted to know why Spencer was acting out, but he didn’t have time to explain. Once on the yacht, Spencer saw Victor and realized there might be trouble.
General Hospital Recap: Gladys Sets Up Cody
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) were both perplexed that Liesl seemed to have vanished for real during the magic show. Nina enlisted Sonny and Dex to find Liesl as she worried about Willow’s bone marrow transplant.
Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) returned to the table to meet Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), and the bracelet was missing. She insisted someone stole it but flashed back to what she did with it. The guard from the company she borrowed it from, tasked with protecting the bracelet, tried to help her retrace her steps.
Gladys lied and said she was with the bracelet backstage and saw Cody (Josh Kelly). The guard then tracked down the bracelet to Cody’s jacket after the Magic Milo act brought the house down. Sasha didn’t seem to believe Cody stole it, although Gladys insisted that he did. Cody denied everything, but the guard insisted that Mac (John J. York) arrest Cody. Gladys explained he had followed her, and Cody didn’t deny it but said he certainly didn’t take the bracelet. Mac arrested him anyway, confusing Sam. Cody just insisted he was framed.
