The General Hospital recap features Liesl Obrecht begging Carly for help and actually getting it in an unexpected way.
In this episode, Liesl (Kathleen Gati) made sure she and Carly got stuck in an elevator so she could have some words with her. Elsewhere in General Hospital, Willow begged Michael to take her home so they could marry again in the Quartermaine living room. A wedding was also about to take place as guests gathered to watch Portia and Curtis say their vows while Jordan tried to convince the bride to tell the truth before the ceremony. Finally, Sam and Dante arrived in England in search of Maggie and devised a plan. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
Carly (Laura Wright) and Liesl ended up in an elevator together and when Liesl got the elevator to stop, she laid into Carly for keeping Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) real identity a secret from Nina (Cynthia Watros). She semi-understood when Carly did this about Nelle (Chloe Lanier) because Nelle was already dead but she robbed Nina of the chance to get to know her other daughter while she was still alive. Carly didn’t even know quite what to say and kept telling Liesl she was sorry for what happened to Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), while also leaving out the fact that Britt died saving Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) life.

Liesl told Carly if she were truly sorry, she’d help Willow and Nina mend fences, but Carly didn’t think she had that power. However, she did tell Liesl that she might be able to bridge the gap between Liesl and Willow rather than Nina and Willow.
As for Willow, she insisted that Michael take her home so they could marry in the Q living room in two weeks. That is a lot of time to wait when Willow only has weeks to live, but we suppose it has to be timed with Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) new arms shipment, which is coincidentally also happening in two weeks.
After Michael left the room, Carly arrived and convinced Willow to see Liesl. Her newfound aunt told Willow that she comes from a line of strong women who are fighters, and Willow was actually nice to her and cracked a smile.
Portia (Brook Kerr) was dismayed when Jordan (Tanisha Harper) showed up at the bride’s room just before she was ready to walk down the aisle. Jordan once again begged her to just tell Curtis (Donnell Turner) the truth and Portia angrily ordered Jordan to stay out of her business because she knows what she is doing. Jordan then threw Portia for a loop when she informed her that Stella (Vernee Watson) deduced the truth about Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) paternity. As Portia insisted that Stella would never tell, it hit her that this was why Stella was not at the wedding.
Jordan finally admitted that she is indeed still in love with Curtis but she only wants to see him happy and it is Portia who makes him happy. She just knows that this whole marriage will be ruined if it starts off with a lie.
After Jordan left, Portia seemed more torn than ever and seemed poised to tell Curtis the truth when he proclaimed his joy at marrying her with no secrets from the other side of the door. Then, Curtis quickly made his way to the altar and Portia walked down the aisle with her dad. When Laura (Genie Francis) asked if anyone objects to the marriage, Portia closed her eyes and braced herself.
The guests at the wedding were not without their fair share of drama. Josslyn was happy to see that Sonny had Dex (Evan Hofer) there to stand guard for the day, but Spencer was not happy to see him at all and told Dex he was dismissing him on Sonny’s behalf. Trina tried to get Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) to stop being so nasty to Dex, but it took Sonny stepping in for the confrontation to stop. Trina later admitted to Ava (Maura West) that she didn’t like this side of Spencer.
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) was happy to see Laura just because her presence comforts her, but she remained determined to turn herself in the next day. Ava also had a conversation with Laura in which she tried to avoid any mention of Nikolas (Adam Huss).
Drew (Cameron Mathison) tried making small talk with Nina but she didn’t really have much to say to him aside from asking if Carly would be joining him as his plus one. Drew gave her a firm no.
Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) arrived at an inn in England where they hoped to find any information they could about Esme’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) mysterious nanny named Maggie.
They managed to learn she had a PO Box, but that was it. Sam also decided to use honesty once they found her and tell Maggie that Esme is in trouble and needs their help. Sam was adamant that she believes Esme really does have amnesia.
