The General Hospital recap for Thursday, January 18, 2024, features Jordan stepping right into a dangerous trap that could cost her everything.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Also in this episode, Drew got some sound advice from Anna that he is not going to take. Michael got off easy with his mom but not so much with Willow. Additionally, Blaze worked to prove herself to a possibly pregnant Kristina. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
Jordan Is Abducted!
Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and TJ (Tajh Bellow) met for dinner and had a nice talk about the possibility of him becoming a dad. Earlier that day (off-screen), Kristina (Kate Mansi) went through the insemination process. Hopefully, in nine months, Jordan will be a grandma.
Of course, the idea excited Jordan, even if she wasn’t a wild fan of how it was all coming together. Can he really trust Kristina to give up the baby she may carry to term? Yes. He can. TJ was sure of it. With that out of the way, Jordan opened up a bit about her new case. She was trying to solve a shooting and it wasn’t easy. And, it was very busy (which is why her phone kept going off). Eventually, the two parted ways and Jordan got back to work.

Jordan took the alley to make a call. This proved to be a massive mistake. The second she hung up, she was surrounded by two dangerous-looking men. Within minutes, they grabbed her and whisked her away. Jordan appears to be in serious danger.
Yes, No, Yes, Love
As for Kristina, she was at home relaxing after her life-changing day. She read through her papers and gave it some thought. Those thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door from Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez). She invited her in and things were immediately awkward. It got a bit more awkward when Kristina told her about the possible pregnancy.
Blaze outright asked Kristina why she was pulling away and creating distance. Kristina opened up about being out and proud and not wanting to go backward. While she did understand Blaze’s need to keep her relationship status to herself, that was not how Kristina rolls. In the end, they decided to call it quits.
But, wait! Blaze was definitely NOT done. She ran to the store to grab ingredients to make Kristina dinner and gave knocking on the door another try. This time, Kristina was more than happy to try for romance again.
Bad Calls
Michael (Chad Duell) got off lucky during his talk with his mom. After hearing him out, Carly (Laura Wright) not only maintained her composure but also forgave him. He’s her son. They are family. And, she’s not a perfect person, either.
He did not get off so lucky with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), though. She was not ready to simply forgive and forget. He lied to her for months and manipulated the situation. Things between them got even more stressful when Wiley (Viron Weaver) came down the stairs. He wanted to go home with his mommy AND daddy. When would they all be together again? Awww.
Meanwhile, Drew (Cameron Mathison) was at the bar chatting with Anna (Finola Hughes). They discussed their traumas and their anger. Anna advised him to look deep into why he was angry because most anger stems from fear.
Before long, Carly came along. Anna commented about Bobbie’s lovely service before grabbing a table and trying to call Jordan since they were supposed to meet. As for Drew, he told Carly he wanted revenge even if she didn’t. And, he knew exactly how to make Nina (Cynthia Watros) pay!
Speaking of making people pay, Esme (Kristen Avery Pohl) ran to the hospital, shook Cyrus (Jeff Kober) awake, and begged him for help finding her son. Cyrus balked at first until Esme pointed out Ace was his family too. Not to mention, he was the only person she felt she could trust right now.
Cyrus eventually relented and agreed to make a call to try and find her baby. Once Esme was out of the room, Cyrus did, in fact, make a call. To whom is unknown, though.
