Then they discovered a dead Jack (Chris L. McKenna) floating in the pool. Danny and Charlotte wasted no time high tailing it out of there, leaving the dead body behind.
Once they arrived back at the Quartermaine boathouse, Charlotte and Danny covered their tracks as Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) and Rocco (Finn Carr) questioned what trouble they were in now. Instead of coming clean, they started a fight about Drew and revealed that Danny had stolen and dinged Chase’s truck.
Alone, Charlotte realized her bracelet was gone. It just so happened to end up on a dead Jack, which means they are so not off the hook.
Ava and Drew Do What They Do Best
It should surprise no one that Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Ava (Maura West) were only concerned about themselves. Neither cared that Jack was dead; rather, they were focused on how to hide their respective actions.
Drew barked that they had to get rid of the body. Which was pretty entertaining, watching Ava and Drew work together as they pulled Jack’s dead body out of the pool and shoved him in a laundry cart.
Once they agreed on a plan, it was off to phase two, putting the body in Drew’s car. It’s not their last move, and as shown in the GH preview for September 2, Drew planned to use this to his advantage.
New Mysteries Arise After Jack’s Death
The fact that Ava, Drew, Charlotte, and Danny were all instantly about hiding their own secrets meant that this story has just been taken to a new level. There are a couple of new mysteries unfolding, like how Jack really died. Was it from Ava’s pills or something else entirely? Our bet is on the latter.
Then there is the mystery of when his body will be found, wherever Drew and Ava bury it. GH spoilers revealed that Drew does something very vengeful, and that likely means burying the body where someone he hates, like Sonny (Maurice Benard) or Nina (Cynthia Watros), takes the heat for it.
Secrets have also been upped thanks to Jack’s demise. Ava, Drew, danny and Cahrlotte are keeping their own secrets about Jack, and they aren’t the only ones. Jason (Steve Burton) and Carly (Laura Wright) know someone was snooping around Jack’s room. Once it becomes clear that Jack’s gone, that will only add fuel to their fire that someone was out to get the WSB station chief.
It’s a bummer that Jack has died, especially since McKenna’s exit leaves a huge hole on the ABC soap, but at least it adds more intrigue.
