GH Spoilers Recap For October 5: Dex Now Wants Revenge On Sonny

The GH spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 5, 2022, features an angry Dex Heller refusing to do what Michael Corinthos asks of him.

GH Spoilers Recap Highlights

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) were furious with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for what he did to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), but Dex insisted on not calling the cops and just walked away after Sonny announced The Hook was a woman.

Later, Michael visited Dex in his apartment and told him that he no longer works for him because he doesn’t want to put his life in danger again. Dex insisted that he is not giving up and that Sonny’s guilt over what he did to him will give him the in he needs to bring Sonny down once and for all. Michael just made sure that Dex would leave Josslyn Jacks out of it.

Meanwhile, Josslyn was horrified that Dex still seemed to trust Sonny and spilled the whole sordid tale to Trina Robinson, who was still curious as to why Joss is so obsessed with Dex.

Back at his money-laundering restaurant, Sonny chastised his hit man with the knives for threatening to cut Dex, and then informed Selina Wu (Lydia Look) she would no longer be needing the man’s services. He then received a visit from Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), who both went to bat for Dex and told Sonny that he was right to do what he did to Dex out of an abundance of caution.

Over in Florida, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) continued her tale of woe with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and then contemplated changing her name.

General Hospital Recap: Ryan’s Big Surprise

Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) continued lurking outside Kelly’s and listened to Joss, Ava, and Trina talking about The Hook. Over at Spring Ridge, Daddy Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) dreamed about Ava returning to his cell and discovering he can walk, talk, and move.

In his fantasies, he nearly strangled Ava while telling her he is Esme’s dad. Somehow Dream Ryan seemed to know that Ava accidentally pushed Esme over the parapet. Ryan was later quite pleased when a smiling Esme showed up for a visit.

GH Spoilers Recap: Nina’s Suspicions

Although Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) learned she was several weeks pregnant at the beginning of June, she is magically still in her first trimester and still spent the day telling TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) why she has to continue working and killing herself with cancer. She can’t allow another baby to die but seems to be okay with dying herself and leaving Wiley all alone.

It felt even more like complete deja vu when Willow and TJ hugged and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) spotted them. Nina later asked Willow why on Earth she wanted to work when she was pregnant and with a rich man, and frankly, looking like death. Nina also pointed out Willow’s close relationship with TJ.
