The GH spoilers recap for Friday, May 27, 2022, features Scott Baldwin making Michael Corinthos look like a hypocrite in court, but was that enough to win his case for Nina Reeves?
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
Scott (Kin Shriner) got Michael (Chad Duell) on the stand and made quite a few salient points as he walked Michael through the night he killed Claudia Zacchara (Sarah Joy Brown) when he thought a newborn Josslyn Jacks was in danger. Michael admitted he felt relief when he did it, but only served a few months of his five-year jail sentence.
Michael got flustered when Scott made a point of saying his family’s entire M.O. is to keep kids from their family and brought up the time Michael sued for custody of Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and named her AJ Quartermaine after Nina (Cynthia Watros) had already kidnapped her and named her Jaime Sommers. Michael then ranted about how horrible Nelle Benson was. When Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) cross-examined, she had Michael talk about the fact that the whole six months Nina was in Nixon Falls she only visited Wiley twice. Some Grandma, right?
When the testimony ended, Nina sobbed to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that she did the best she could, but everything they said about her was true. She’d also understand if Sonny could never forgive her. Sonny then placed his hand on her cheek and didn’t say a word as Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) watched and seethed.
Nina soon tried to leave the courtroom, but Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) grabbed her on her way out and told her she isn’t going anywhere.
General Hospital Recap: Is It Really Over For Ava And Nikolas?
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) found Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) at the Metro Court having drinks with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and Victor used his charm to try to get them to get along. When he walked away, Nikolas confronted Ava about bribing Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) to move out with a trust fund enticement. Ava said she was happy to help him get rid of his son’s sociopathic girlfriend, but Nikolas took offense to that.

When Ava got serious and told her husband that they could work on their marriage better if Spencer and Esme were not around, Nikolas didn’t want to hear her. He just said he loved her but that Spencer and Esme needed to stay. Ava correctly asked him what words are without the actions to go with him, as he isn’t showing her that he loves her.
GH Spoilers Recap: More Cassadine Troubles
Spencer was jealous when he saw Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) with Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse), but he and Trina talked alone when Rory made himself scarce. Spencer still didn’t get Trina to be his friend again, so he returned to Wyndemere angry and Esme knew it was about Trina. Spencer angrily insisted they go for a horseback ride, but Esme wanted to talk about Trina more.
When Spencer didn’t obey her, she warned him she might not be there when he got back. Of course, that was all a lie because Esme was thrilled when she spied Nikolas storm in the house and start drinking.
Over at the Metro Court pool, Rory was there hoping Trina would show up and when she did, they sat together and got to know one another better.
