The GH spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 9, 2022, features some strange goings-on at Spring Ridge in a room that looked just like Ferncliff as Ryan Chamberlain and Esme Prince furthered their fiendish plot.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
As so many had suspected, Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) faked every moment of his near-catatonic state for months on end, and it turns out it was all so he could break up Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Apparently, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has been his accomplice the whole time and even her relationship with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) seems to be fake, as Esme pledges her loyalty to Ryan and then calls him “Daddy.”
Things got even creepier when she asked if he likes when she calls him that. Ryan told her, “Be careful what you wish for,” and then proceeded to admonish her for her adolescent hijinks and not focusing on the task at hand.
Esme later threatened to tell Kevin Collins (also Jon Lindstrom) all about his brother’s health if Ryan didn’t inform her about everything he is up to. Ryan then grabbed her and told her he is proud of her backbone before he stood up and said if she helps him, then she will get everything her heart desires, referring to her as his beautiful daughter. But none of this talk seemed to be in a traditional father-daughter way, which kicks this storyline up a notch into a higher creep zone than ever.
General Hospital Recap: Victor Takes The Bait — Twice
At Wyndemere, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) toasted to bringing the family together and believed Ava when she said she really did want him at her vow renewal. After he left, Nikolas asked her why she invited Vicor and she admitted it was to spy on him for his mother — Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

Over at the Metro Court, as soon as Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) heard that the box she received from Peter August (Wes Ramsey) could help bring down Victor, she was all in.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Britt, and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) were all on the terrace fawning over Bailey Lou when Victor joined them. That’s when Maxie and Britt faked a fight over the box and it broke open revealing a tarot card that Victor swiped. He doesn’t seem to realize the card is not the one that controls Drew, but that was the plan all along and he fell for it.
GH Spoilers Recap: Gladys Panics Over Brando and Sasha
The Metro Court bar was the scene for Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to discuss Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactos) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and how Sasha is rushing things by working so soon after Liam’s death. When Lucy brought up almost getting married at Niagara Falls, Gladys realized what Brando and Sasha were up to and called them to stop them.
Fate may have other ideas for them as the pair first got lost and then had car trouble. Sasha really wants to get married, but things didn’t look like they were going her way and she began to freak out. A tow truck finally arrived, but are they too late to make it to the chapel?
