The GH spoilers recap for Thursday, July 28, 2022, features Nikolas Cassadine spilling all to Ava Jerome about what he did with Esme Prince, and it wasn’t pretty.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) had fun taunting Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) by telling her that she knew things that would blow up her entire life. Ava thought she was bluffing until Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) showed up all red in the face and out of breath. As Esme made it clear that she would destroy him, Nikolas knew what he had to do.
He took Ava into a room and told her all about the time a teenage girl managed to manipulate him and seduce him because, well, he thought they were on a break. And then they weren’t on a break, so how could he tell Ava what really happened?
Ava could barely believe her ears as she seethingly and gloriously let loose on her bonehead of a husband and congratulated him for falling for the charms of a high school graduate who was dating his son. Ava thought she married a man, but she told Nikolas she now knows that she clearly did no such thing.
Meanwhile, Esme took the stand for the prosecution and told the jury that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) was definitely angry the night at the cabin. When Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) cross-examined her, she made sure the jury knew that Esme arranged everything about the trip while feeling like an outsider.

After a recess, Spencer told Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) he had no more use for Esme. As Trina believed she was going to be called to the stand next, Diane surprised everyone and called Spencer instead.

Back at Wyndemere, Esme started packing her bags in a hurry but was stopped when Ava and all her fury walked through the door.
General Hospital Recap: Dante Stuns Sam
A double date at the ax bar turned into a single date when Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) texted Mac Scorpio (John J. York) to babysit (of course), so she took off, leaving Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) all alone.
Dante told Sam he was ready for the next step in their relationship and then got down on his knees. Sam freaked out, but he was really picking up something she dropped. Sam was relieved he didn’t want to get married, but he does want to move in together, and Sam wasn’t sure what to think.
GH Spoilers Recap: Sasha Has A Million Problems, And So Does Sonny
Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) did her best to convince Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) that he doesn’t need to be there right before her therapy session. That’s when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) found them in the hospital halls, and Sasha admitted she knew Willow was pregnant. The ladies shared some bonding moments before Willow told TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) she was ready for those tests, but he couldn’t tell Michael anything about them.
Sasha’s problems looked like they were about to go from bad to worse when Felty (Brian Norris) decided to tell Smoltz (David Lautman) the story of The Face of Deception being on drugs when she ran down Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel). However, Felty refused to tell Dante that it was Dex Heller (Even Hofer) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) who helped land him in the hospital.
When Dex and Michael met in the stairwell, Michael told him to stay away from Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) but also advised Dex to act more like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to get Sonny to trust him. That’s when Brando found them standing there, but did he hear what they were talking about?
