The GH spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 27, 2022, features Esme Prince demanding answers she may never get from her daddy, Ryan Chamberlain.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) got herself over to Spring Ridge as fast as she could and Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) was impressed she managed to get her internship back. However, he was not happy to learn that she used her tryst with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) as leverage. Esme played it cool and told Ryan that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) offered her mother’s identity in exchange for her helping free Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), but she wanted that information from Ryan first.

Ryan told her he shared a deep relationship with her mother and she was the only one who ever truly understood him, but he didn’t even know her real name. Esme wasn’t sure what to do, so she said she would leave town, but one day might reveal the truth about Ryan. That prompted Ryan to try to be nice to her and say he cares, promising one day they’d look for her mother together. Esme wasn’t buying it.
General Hospital Recap: Courthouse Drama
As Trina’s second day in court began, Spencer took the stand and left things vague on whether he knew Esme’s whereabouts the entire time after they left the cabin that night. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennessy) thought that was a cross-examination opening.
During recess, Trina told Spencer what she really thought of him for taking the stand for the prosecution, but Spencer insisted he was subpoenaed. Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) noticed them together and told Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that he thought Trina still has feelings for Spencer.

Over at the hospital, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) remembered the conversation she had with Spencer over Esme’s pills after Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) asked her to check what drugs were in Oz Haggerty’s (Max Faugno) system.
At Wyndemere, Nikolas had his own drama when he realized how he’d been snowed by Esme. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) couldn’t imagine what was wrong with his nephew but soon figured it out and declared Esme must be evicted permanently.
GH Spoilers Recap: Matchmaker
Before Britt got to the hospital to talk to Jordan, she spent some time with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) at the Metro Court pool lamenting her bad date with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). As if on cue, Cody showed up and tried to be nice to both of them.
When Maxie and Cody were alone, Cody told Maxie how much he likes Britt and wants another chance. Maxie decided she liked the guy and was willing to give him pointers on how to win Britt over.
