The GH spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 9, 2022, features Cody Bell deciding to take a piece out of Scott Baldwin the moment he learned his name.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was thrilled to see Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) talking to a man at the Metro Court pool, and she made sure to let him know her daughter has many prospects. Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) was happy to meet Britt’s mother, but Britt was mortified by her mother’s interference. Liesl was later miffed to learn that Cody is the man who parachuted into the Metro Court pool, knocking a drunk Bitt into the water.
When Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) showed up to see his schnitzel, he introduced himself to Cody. Just as Scott was handing the newcomer his business card, Cody decked him, saying it was something he wanted to do for a very long time.

Before Scott made it to the pool, he met with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) at the Metro Court Gardens. That’s where Ava signed the divorce papers, and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) refused to sign them. He eventually convinced Ava to not mention the affair in case Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) body is found.
General Hospital Recap: Anna Makes A Decision
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) got together for some fitness and some girl talk where they only seemed to discuss Valentin Casadine (James Patrick Stuart) and all of his lies. Anna admitted that she wants Valentin to be a part of her life, but he is hiding something, and it is nagging at her. She finally realized she needs to know the truth, but now she has to find a way to get it.

Valentin enjoyed his own time at the Metro Court, gloating to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about how well business is going. He then sat down with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and told him that for Charlotte Cassadine’s sake, he will do whatever he is told to do. He assured Victor he has the Anna situation under control, but Victor didn’t really believe him.
GH Spoilers Recap: Sonny And Carly Are Moving On
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) sat down at Charlie’s Pub to discuss their future, and Sonny made it clear he wants one with Nina, but only if she can accept that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will always be a part of his life. Nina explained she wasn’t sure they’d be able to survive as a couple outside of the bubble that was Nixon Falls.
When Grant Smoltz (David Lautman) popped in to harass them about Nixon Falls and give all reporters a bad name, Nina thought her point had been proven, but Sonny talked her into giving their relationship a go.
At the Metro Court, both Drew and Carly met with life coach Mia (Vanessa Mathison), with Carly telling Mia her goal is to get back what she lost and then some. And we don’t think she was talking about Sonny.
