The GH spoilers recap for Thursday, August 25, 2022, features Elizabeth Webber finally acting the way Hamilton Finn has wanted, but his own controlling nature may have ruined it.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Finn (Michael Easton) seemed happy together at the Quartermaine picnic and like an actual couple although we never saw them go on an actual date. When Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) happened upon them, Liz even apologized for her anger at the two of them discussing her life behind her back.

The pair then snuck away for some alone time and kisses in the Q stable and Finn was thrilled when Elizabeth asked him to find a blanket. Too bad Liz wasn’t as thrilled when Finn’s phone rang and she noticed that her sister, Sarah Webber, was calling him back.
As for Terry, it looks like she and Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) drank Leo Quartermaine’s love potion as they took quite a liking to each other.
General Hospital Recap: Fire Fears
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCiero) was ready to lose it when she realized she had the dessert she ordered delivered to the Metro Court and not the Q mansion. When Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) learned what happened, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) suggested she score brownie points by bringing them there herself.

Meanwhile, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) took their makeout session into the boat house, leaving the grill aflame. That caused Olivia’s phone app alarm to go off alerting her to a fire. She and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) ran to put it out. Nina then arrived and learned about the fire, prompting her to run and try to save Sonny as she thought back to the fire at the Tan-O.
By the time Nina got to the grill area, the real fire was out, as was Drew and Carly’s. Later, Carly told Drew she was glad the fire interrupted them before they took things too far. She admitted she wants to take things a bit slower and not ruin their friendship just yet.
GH Spoilers Recap: Cassadine Problems
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) made it from his leisurely perch on a lounge chair at the Metro Court pool into the Q stables looking stressed and morose before we could blink. That’s where Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) found him and tried to make amends. It seemed Spencer was depressed about not being the hero in Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) life due to Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) disappearance.
Nikolas tried to cheer Spencer up by telling him they would go to Greece after his time in Pentonville, but Spencer didn’t want to hear it. However, he did listen to Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughessy) when his uncle suggested he give his father another chance. Victor had already spent time warning Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) not to get on his bad side.
In the Q living room, Nikolas and Ava were arguing when she blurted out she can’t forgive him for sleeping with Esme. Of course, that’s exactly when Spencer walked into the room.
