The General Hospital recap for Thursday, October 26, 2023, featured Michael forcing Nina’s hand and playing puppet master over his wife’s family life.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Also in this episode, Sasha decided to stay, Stella fixed a huge mistake, Carly asked for help, and Dante and Sonny bonded. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
General Hospital: Warning Shots
Michael (Chad Duell) glared at Nina (Cynthia Watros) with knives and fire in his eyes as Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) entered Nina’s office. It was a clear warning, which Nina knew, so she played his game. She even managed to turn down Willow’s request for another family vacation.
Michael eventually tired of the scene and took off, but rather than follow him as he wanted, Willow exerted her independence and stayed to talk with Nina alone. The women gushed over having one another in their lives. Willow even told Nina about her dreams of Harmony. It all made Nina much more aware of what she had to lose.

As for Michael, he went to Kelly’s where he found his mother and Joss (Eden McCoy) engrossed in a conversation about Drew (Cameron Mathison). Joss begged him to help but Carly (Laura Wright) told him to keep his hands clean, especially right now. Their family is in enough trouble. She did, however, ask him to pry for intel on what Judge Kim was doing with Drew’s file. Carly is determined to find out who turned her and Drew into the SEC (Securities & Exchange Commission).
Over at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) office, he and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) had a father-son bonding fest where they sang each other’s praises. Dante apologized for missing the nuptials but Sonny wouldn’t hear of it. He told Dante how proud he was of him and how much he respected him.
Later, Sonny delivered Nina flowers and brought his new bride some dinner. What a way to end the day. As for the rest of his family, they joined Carly for some grub at Kelly’s.
General Hospital Recap: Safety Plan
Meanwhile, Portia (Brook Kerr) went home and talked to Curtis (Donnell Turner) about Cyrus (Jeff Kober). Not only is the madman free but he confronted her at the hospital. She bragged about standing up to the baddie but admitted she was worried sick. What if he came after them? After Trina?
Portia wondered if they should pull Trina from the dorms. She did not feel safe with Trina out from under their roof and even toyed with calling Ava (Maura West) to ensure Trina was never alone at the gallery. Curtis agreed. He was scared, too.
Curtis put a call out to Jordan (Tanisha Harper) for help. The off-screen talk seemed to set him at ease. Little did he know she was talking about him with Stella (Vernee Watson). The women discussed Curtis’s shooting, his recovery, and the case. Stella was dismayed to hear there were still no leads.
GH Recap: Clear Directions
On the verge of tears was Felicia (Kristina Wagner). She worried herself sick to Stella and Jordan about messing up a patient’s paperwork. This proved to be an expensive mistake that nearly cost a patient a lot of money. Poor Felicia felt so bad, she decided to foot the bill herself. Thankfully, Stella worked things out before Felicia had to write a check.
Balancing work and plans for play were Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Finn (Michael Easton), who got a haircut. They were both excited for their trip — so much so, they kept bumping into each other to discuss the getaway. In the end, they opted to take Liz’s car, pack light, and bring home apples for Aiden.
Getting back to real life was Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). She opened up to Cody (Josh Bell) about her change of heart. She was determined to get a fresh start and was racing out of town but a picture of Brando and one last look at Port Charles changed her mind. She belonged here with the people who love her…Cody included.
