GH Recap: Marty’s Third Ex-Wife Has Big Plans For Him

The General Hospital recap for September 15, 2023, features Blair Cramer arriving in Port Charles to see both Marty and Tracy.

In this episode, Marty tried to avoid seeing his third ex-wife as Blair met with Tracy to talk all things Deceptor and Deception. Spencer asked Alexis for a favor just as Nikolas made new plans for his future. Joss and Trina talked about weekends away and sex, while Carly warned Ava that she couldn’t trust Austin. Finally, Valentin was honest with Anna before danger reared its head. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

General Hospital: Blair Cramer Is Back

Blair Cramer (Kassie DePaiva) of Llanview, PA, returned to Port Charles and promptly met with Tracy (Jane Elliot) at the Metro Court, where they discussed the Deception lawsuit. It turned out that Tracy just wanted Deception and ELQ while Blair just wanted Lucy broke so she would make Marty (Michael E. Knight) marry her and Blair could stop paying Marty his money each month — being that she was his third ex-wife. She also gave him the idea of the Deceptor, which he foolishly passed on to Lucy (Lynn Herring).

Across the restaurant, Marty dined with Lucy while hiding his head in a menu so that Blair didn’t see him. He tried to talk about anyone but who was dining with Tracy, but all Lucy wanted to know was who Tracy was talking to. When Lucy finally left Marty alone to pay the check, Blair snuck up behind him.

General Hospital Recap: Spencer and Trina Are Ready For More

Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) dropped by to see Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and talk about coming into all that Cassadine money now that Nikolas (Adam Huss) is MIA. He needed Alexis to interpret the legal papers for him. Spencer was still furious at Nikolas for abandoning him and Ace, so Alexis had to explain he didn’t have a good fatherly role model.

Eventually, Spencer told Alexis about his trip to New York and asked Alexis to keep his eye on Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl), not knowing Esme was outside Alexis’s office door listening. Spencer wanted Alexis to make sure Esme didn’t skip town with Ace, so Esme decided she’d allow her presence to be known.

Trina (Tabyana Ali) was surprised at the condition of her dorm when she arrived but was not surprised to hear that it was a result of Joss (Eden McCoy) and Dex (Evan Hofer) having sex. That prompted Trina to tell Joss all about her planned getaway to NYC with Spencer. Joss was excited for her friend but also had to know if Trina had thought long and hard about the prospect of sex. Trina admitted that is all she’s been thinking about.

When Austin (Roger Howarth) arrived home, he was surprised to see Nikolas all packed up and ready to leave for Europe. He wanted to somehow let Laura (Genie Francis) know he was alive and well so she’d stop searching for him. He also wanted to make sure Spencer didn’t get control of all that Cassadine cash.

Carly (Laura Wright) was stunned to see Ava (Maura West) in her living room, but Ava got even more of a surprise when she learned that Sonny blabbed about all her Austin and Mason (Nathanyael Grey) business to his ex-wife. She was also stunned to hear that Austin had been to Pentonville recently. Carly also made sure to let Ava know she was helping Sonny, so that meant she was, in turn, helping Ava. Carly tried to get more information out of Ava but didn’t get very far.

GH Recap: Anna Gets Answers

Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) sat down for dinner at the Metro Court, where the hostess quickly handed Anna an envelope from Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). She even showed Valentin the contents of the envelope and asked him to explain himself. He finally admitted he wasn’t at ELQ the night of the fire but instead had to fly to NYC to meet with Pikeman representatives.

Anna was absolutely furious that Valentin lied to her. She thought they were always honest with each other now and wanted to know what else he was keeping from her. All Valentin could do was apologize, but that wasn’t enough for Anna. She wanted answers, so Valentin swore he wasn’t keeping any secrets from her.
