The GH recap for Tuesday, December 27, 2022, features Britt Westbourne reluctantly making plans for what will happen after New Year’s Eve.
GH Recap Highlights
In this episode, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) made a promise in exchange for help, and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) bets on the wrong kind of help. Also, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) continued trying to murder Willow Tait (Katelyn McMullen) by keeping Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) on a wild goose chase, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) figured out what ails Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) spent bonding time with Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson). Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
After his cathartic experience watching Britt deliver a Christmas miracle baby, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) decided to come clean. He admitted he had no interest in Britt until he heard she was Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) daughter and figured she might have access to some of Leopold Taub’s riches. He then told her that he blackmailed Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) into telling her that she and Cody were a match, but by the time they found that infamous necklace, he had fallen for her.

Britt was in tears as she told Cody none of it mattered and they couldn’t be together, which left Cody dumbfounded. Later, Britt met with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and promised to never see Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) again after New Year’s Eve. In exchange, Selina provided Britt with a fake driver’s license and passport so she could disappear.
General Hospital Recap: Carly’s Big Move; Sonny’s Big Meeting
Carly and Drew showed up at Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) and Willow’s little guesthouse just in time to see Wiley have a major tantrum because Willow didn’t feel up to taking him sledding. After putting him in a time-out, Michael and Willow left for the hospital, and Drew and Carly stayed to babysit.
Drew and Carly went through old papers Willow had from the commune to match them with a photo Drew came up with of the commune leader. When Drew went to take a call, Carly found the right papers and then hid them away in her purse, and Drew was none the wiser. He also didn’t find it suspicious when Carly suggested he take a break from the search. At General Hospital, Michael tried to cheer Willow up by taking her to see the newborn babies.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had his own time today with just Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and a man from Pikeman Security. Sonny thought the meeting went well and Dex warned him that Pikeman is a military security company he definitely does not want to work with.
GH Recap: BLQ’s Diagnosis, Sasha’s New Lease On Life
Maxie and Brook Lynn caught up at GH while BLQ waited for a doctor’s appointment. She can’t sleep, she can’t eat, her stomach is in knots, and she has a headache. After swearing she is not pregnant, Maxie diagnosed Brook Lynn with lovesickness. BLQ was shocked to realize she was right.
At the Metro Court, Sasha gave Gladys a pair of diamond earrings for Christmas that she promptly gave Selina as a downpayment on what she owed for her poker losses. She then took out another line of credit before thinking about Sasha’s money.
When Gladys was with Selina, Chase visited Sasha and told her how impressed he is with how she turned her life around. Sasha then told him not to give up on Brook Lynn so soon.
