GH Recap: Carly Kicked A Job Seeking Cyrus To The Curb

The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, November 1, 2023, featured Cyrus barking up the wrong tree for a job. Carly was the worst person to ask.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Also in this episode, Neddie got a glimpse of his real life, Brook Lynn stood her ground, and Anna made the mistake of spending time with Charlotte. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

General Hospital: A Sense Of Danger

Cyrus (Jeff Kober) thought he was slick when he waltzed into Kelly’s and asked Carly (Laura Wright) for a job. He said all the “right” things, including pointing out he’s been cooking since he was a kid, and throwing Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) name around. None of it worked, though, Carly was not budging.

As far as Carly was concerned, Cyrus is and will forever be a monster. Nothing good would ever come of having him around. Not only did she refuse to employ him, she threw him out of the diner and told him to stay away, or else!

Speaking of baddies pretending to be good, Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) took up baking. She even invited Anna (Finola Hughes) to try one of her goods when she showed up to visit. Of course, she was less concerned about Anna’s food review than she was about where Anna was living now. Oh, and stealing Anna’s key.

The little get-together ended when Charlotte lit the stove on fire. While the damage was minimal, it seemed to set off another red flag for Valentin. He ushered his daughter to the hospital for her first visit with Kevin (Jon Lindstrom).

Alone with Kevin, Charlotte turned on all her charm and tried to explain away her father’s worries. Kevin saw through it all, though. After the appointment, he started noting all the issues with the teen, including her borderline obsession with her father.

General Hospital Recap:

Over at the Quartermaine mansion, Lois (Rena Sofer) had a good time playing math with Leo (Easton Rocket Sweda), who was dressed up as Albert Einstein for Halloween. She remarked to Neddie (Wally Kurth) about how smart the boy was. She thought she was clever knowing the length of the Brooklyn Bridge. That comment set off a memory for Neddie and he pictured himself and Lois on the bridge tower after their wedding.

The image freaked out Neddie so he sought refuge in the only way he knew how — by picking up his guitar and working on his song. Lois, of course, overheard and decided to check in again.

Also at the house was Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). She was there to see Leo’s costume but spent the majority of her time going back and forth with Tracy (Jane Elliot) instead. BLQ confronted her grandma about the gift of Deception and turned it down flat. Tracy reminded her that family comes first and she did what she did FOR BLQ, not to spite her.

Brook Lynn wanted to stay on her own course and do her own thing. Tracy reluctantly agreed to be supportive and stick to the sidelines. No games, no sabotage.

GH Recap: Dates And Deals

Tracy was a hot topic for Lucy (Lynn Herring), too. But first, she spent her afternoon trying to convince Ava (Maura West) to sell Spoon Island and Wyndemere to a holding company. After, she moved on to griping with Scott about Tracy. There may not be a way to overturn the deal, but the least Lucy could do was aim to regain 2% of Tracy’s shares….then all would be right in her world with her as the majority stockholder again.

As for Ava, she picked up Avery and headed to the Halloween party at the diner. She and Carly updated each other about their goings-on.

Speaking of Scott, he had it out with Robert (Tristan Rogers) over a case. He didn’t get too far before Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) interrupted. Scott stormed off, leaving Diane to invite Robert to a gala. He was so excited he started working on getting himself a tux.

His search ended as quickly as it started with Anna dropping in. She asked for his help moving her few possessions, including a very heavy trunk. It was then that Anna realized she had lost her key.
