The General Hospital recaps for March 13 – March 17, 2023, featured goodbyes, hellos, lows, highs, and everything in between.
Dex (Evan Hofer) takes a bullet for a grateful Sonny (Maurice Benard)…Josslyn (Eden McCoy) does her best to assure Carly (Laura Wright) that Dex had a plan to get out of the mob, but Carly did buy it. Josslyn and Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) talked about the Nurses Ball, Josslyn and Cam’s (William Lipton) break up, and the (supposedly) late, (arguably) great Luke (Anthony Geary).
Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) balks when Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) cops to copping a plea deal in exchange for her admitting her crimes against Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). Liz fills Carly in on said crimes, and Carly admits that she’d have done likewise…Finn (Michael Easton) is brought in to consult on Victor’s case when a pathogen is detected in his blood tests.
Nina (Cynthia Watros) resolves to not turn Carly and Drew (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC…Drew approaches Laura (Genie Francis) with a proposal to purchase Valentine’s (James Patrick Stuart) shares in ELQ…Cody (Josh Kelly) confides in Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that Mac (John J. York) is his biological father…Mac and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) reconcile.
Despite several people assuming she’d do the opposite, Nina champions the idea of the Metro Court hosting the Nurses Ball…Lucy (Lynn Herring) is driven to distraction by her inability to host the gala…Laura turned down Drew’s proposal.
Victor learns that the pathogen causing his performance issues were purposefully introduced into his system. He lays the blame at Laura’s feet and vows vengeance…Dante encourages Cody to make a clean break of things with Mac.
Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) requests seed money from Sonny for a new restaurant venture. He happily agrees. Seeing this fatherly side of Sonny gives Dex pause…Liz readies to face the hospital board…Gregory (Gregory Harrison) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) share with, respectively, Finn and Chase (Josh Swickard), and Sam (Kelly Monaco) that they are estranged from one another. Alexis attempts to bridge the gap between only for Gregory to nearly collapse in a heap.
Cameron gathers Josslyn, Trina (Tabyana Ali), and Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and announces that he’ll soon be decamping for Stanford. Spencer greets the news with derision. Cameron warns Josslyn away from Dex…Esme vetoes Laura and Kevin’s suggestion that they assume custody of Ace…Trina calls on Esme.
Liesl (Kathleen Gati) learns that she is a viable bone marrow donor for Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) but must forgo taking her anti-coagulants a specific number of weeks before the transplant can take place…Sonny fills Nina in on the ambush at his warehouse…Alexis accuses Gregory of being drunk which he refutes. Sam (Kelly Monaco) ascertains that Gregory wasn’t served any alcohol.
Spencer takes exception to Dex’s living with Sonny…Trina sizes Esme up, then summons Josslyn, Cameron, and Spencer and stuns them with her desire to see the D.A. drop the charges against her (Esme)…Esme receives a letter from Heather…
Nina debates if she’s cut out to be Sonny’s moll or not…Laura provides Valentin with an update on Victor…Lucy takes flight from the safe house and makes tracks for the Metro Court…Eileen (Heather Mazur) plays Victor like a fiddle…Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) convinces Robert (Tristan Rogers) to drop the charges against Esme.
