General Hospital Recaps: Monday, February 20
Curtis (Donnell Turner) takes Portia (Brook Kerr) to task for her dishonesty. She reveals that Stella (Vernee Watson) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) were aware of her subterfuge…Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) retreat to The Jerome Gallery. She fills him in on the dramatic goings-on. Afterward, the two kiss.
On Spoon Island, Heather (Alley Mills) grievously wounds Austin (Roger Howarth). Felicia (Kristina Wagner) gets the drop on Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) and Esme uses the opportunity to bolt. Ryan recovers and puts an armed Heather in charge of Felicia and Ava (Maura West) and gives chase for his daughter. Heather suggests the ladies take their leave while Ryan is absent, then offers to tell Ava all the strings Ryan pulled to ruin her life.
Elsewhere, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) deduced the identity of The Hook, and Laura (Genie Francis) filled Kevin (also Jon Lindstrom) in on Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Ryan’s familial connection.
GH Recaps: Tuesday, February 21
Heather delighted in telling Ava that it was Ryan who sicced Esme on her. Afterward, she hands over her gun and encourages Ava to end Ryan once and for all. Ava confronts Ryan in a clearing, wounds him in the shoulder, and steadies herself to deliver a killing shot…Alexis tells the interested parties that Heather is The Hook; the assemblage then slots in another piece of the puzzle: Heather is Esme’s mother…The authorities file into Wyndemere…An in-labor Esme bursts into the castle…Marshall (Robert Gossett) encourages Curtis not to give up on his marriage.
General Hospital Recaps: Wednesday, February 22
Ava’s gun jams, but Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) does not. Mac fires his gun and shoots Ryan dead. The madman’s reign of terror is brought to a bloody end…Esme gives birth to Spencer’s baby brother…Alexis updates Spencer and Trina…Austin receives treatment at GH; he and Ava worry that Nikolas’s corpse will be discovered…Taggert (Réal Andrews) and Portia make peace with one another…Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) confides her crimes to Scott (Kin Shriner) and asks him to represent her.

GH Recaps: Thursday, February 23
Nina (Cynthia Watros) is chagrined to learn from Drew (Cameron Mathison) that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) has checked herself out of the hospital and returned to the Quartermaine estate. She threatens to revenge herself against Carly (Laura Wright) and an equally unsympathetic Drew…Sonny (Maurice Benard) asks Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) to intercede on Nina’s behalf with Willow. Michael (Chad Duell) arrives, and Sonny makes the pitch himself. When Michael denies him, Sonny rails.
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) gains access to Heather under the guise of her lawyer and sits in awe as Heather spins a self-serving story. When Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) — having been tipped off by Cody (Josh Kelly) — interrupts the pair, Sasha makes clear her intentions to undermine Heather’s insanity defense…Dex (Evan Hofer) revealed to Josslyn (Eden McCoy) that he was working in opposition to Sonny, then offered to let her decide how he should proceed.
General Hospital Recaps: Friday, February 24
Heather cops to The Hook killings but swears that it was Ryan who orchestrated their escape from Spring Ridge…Esme worries she’s as broken, damaged, and dangerous as her parents; Laura works to reassure her otherwise…Liz readies to confess all…Ava fills Spencer in on Esme’s connection to Ryan and how she was under orders to seduce and corrupt him…Josslyn and Dex decide to keep things status quo.
