Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Finn (Michael Easton) head off for their first date since reconciling…. Carly (Laura Wright) summons Josslyn (Eden McCoy) to Kelly’s and announces that she’s the diner’s new proprietress courtesy of Bobbie…. Terry (Cassandra James) accepts a key to Yuri’s (Cyrus Hobbi) apartment…. Nina (Cynthia Watros) bonds with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen).
Mason (Nathanyael Grey) has Gordon, the pesky, black-mail-minded associate troubling Austin (Roger Howarth) assassinated. Dex (Evan Hofer), who’s been tasked with keeping an eye on Austin, discovers the corpse and alerts Sonny (Maurice Benard)…. Ava (Maura West) makes the acquaintance of Mason’s lackey Betty (Ella Lentini) and learns that her mother is at the (unwitting) mercy of one of Mason’s other goons.
Sonny pressures Ava into coming clean. She breaks down and confesses all, including her murder (or “murder”) of Nikolas…. Despondent over his medical malady, Curtis (Donnell Turner) insists that Portia (Brook Kerr) sever ties with him…. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) sneak into the shuttered Metro Court pool and indulge in some adult activities.
Curtis wounds Portia to force her to abandon him…. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) debate whether or not Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) was responsible for Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) predicament and wonder where Selina Wu fits in. A recuperating Cody (Josh Kelly) foists himself upon the couple…. Dex updates Josslyn on his eventful night…. Sonny avails himself to Ava.
Gladys and Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder) work to exacerbate Sasha’s mental decline…. Cody fills Dante in on the poker games at The Savoy, his suspicions that Gladys is paying her debts with Sasha’s money, and how he’s under Selena’s thumb…. Nina and Carly clash…. Sam checks in on Molly (Brooke Anne Smith) who’s banged up after a tumble down some stairs. Molly confides that she and TJ (Tajh Bellow) have yet to discuss how to best expand their family…. Portia declares that she and Curtis will be facing his crisis together.
Betty makes a bad first impression on Josslyn. Trina shares with her that Dex is on Betty’s tail…. Ava and Sonny disagree over his handling of Betty…. Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Molly bond…. Nina confronts Michael (Chad Duell). Kristina rides to Nina’s defense…. Trina and Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) reconcile…. Dante and Charlotte (Scarlet Fernandez) pay Lulu a visit…. Laura (Genie Francis) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) get nowhere in their hunt for Nikolas.
