General Hospital (GH) Recap: Mike And Sonny Received DEVASTATING News!

The General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, February 22 features Sonny’s heartache as he learned what’s really wrong with his father.

Mike’s Diagnosis
Griffin (Matt Cohen) was forced to give the bad news to Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Mike (Max Gail) that Mike has Alzheimer’s, but Mike refused to accept the diagnosis and ran off. He ended up at Ava’s gallery and thought it was Luke’s Place.

Apparently, the gallery is where Luke’s club once was and although Ava (Maura West) tried to calm Mike down, he destroyed one of her pieces of art and she called the police.

Gaslighting…
That was just when Carly (Laura Wright) received another odd phone call, but this time she heard an explosion on the other end. Nelle (Chloe Lanier) must have done this just after her childbirth class, where Nina was coaching Maxie and the two taunted each other.

Moving On With Life
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) was determined to get back into life and work, and Nina (Michelle Stafford) was at least there for her. Hence, how they ended up throwing their phones against the wall and going to childbirth class.

Memory Mysteries
Jason (Steve Burton) stopped by Aurora Media to talk to Drew (Billy Miller) about Faison’s will, but ended up talking to Sam (Kelly Monaco) instead. She told him how she thinks if Drew stops trying to get his memories back, that it will just happen naturally. The two actually laughed and smiled at one another and it all seemed natural.

Then, Peter (Wes Ramsey) stopped by and Jason asked him if he can publish a story about the will in the paper to try to lure Henrik out, but then Peter talked him out of it. Sam later asked Peter rhetorically if he knew anything about a disco ball ornament with a flash drive in it and Peter said no. Then, he remembered holding it in his hand.
