The General Hospital recap features Josslyn and Dex having a good time in her dorm room until the sushi arrived and the sushi turned out to be Cameron Webber.
In this episode, Josslyn told Dex all about her mother’s lies and defended her just as Cameron learned what was going on with Willow. At Kelly’s, Elizabeth had to explain to Violet that she and Finn broke up because Finn couldn’t seem to say it. Then, Elizabeth got a big surprise. At the hospital, Michael admitted that he can’t forgive Carly for the moment, while Ava found time to flirt with Austin just as she was getting Wyndemere all to herself. Finally, Curtis and Portia had a long talk with Marshall about his past and future. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) stopped by Kelly’s to check on Cameron (William Lipton) and mentioned how it might be hard not to be there for Josslyn (Eden McCoy) after what is going on with her family. When Cam seemed confused, Elizabeth told him all about Willow having cancer and the bone marrow ordeal.
Cameron immediately headed over to Joss’s dorm room, where a lot had been taking place. Joss told Dex (Evan Hofer) the whole sordid tale of her mother hiding the fact that Willow is Nina’s daughter but decided that it was all Nina’s fault, and Carly did nothing wrong. She then lambasted Dex for still working for big, bad Sonny but was happy when Dex told her that he would only be in Sonny’s employment for six more months at the most, and then he’d explain everything.
This must have made Joss extremely happy because she then had sex with Dex in her dorm bed. In the afterglow, they decided to order takeout and just assumed a knock on the door was their food. A shirtless Dex answered the door to find a stunned Cameron there.
Back at Kelly’s, Elizabeth sat down for brownies with Finn (Michael Easton) and Violet (Jophielle Love), who didn’t understand why Aunt Elizabeth doesn’t stop by anymore. Finn tried to explain that they broke up, but he couldn’t get the words out, so Elizabeth had to tell the child what was going on for them.

Once Violet and Finn were gone, and Elizabeth was alone, she got the surprise of her life when she looked up to see her mother, Carolyn (Denise Crosby), standing there.
At the hospital, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) asked for Michael’s (Chad Duell) forgiveness, but he was still angry at her for playing God with Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) life. When he learned how Carly manipulated Drew and tried to throw him off course with his search for Willow’s birth family, he asked Carly what made her different from Nina, and many of us wondered the same thing.
Carly really didn’t have much of an answer for that as Michael told her that he might have had the same instinct to protect Willow from the horrible Nina (Cynthia Watros), a worse mother choice than a woman who gave her daughter to a cult leader to be raped. However, he admitted that he would have let Willow make the decision about what to do with the news in the end. Carly was soon heartened to hear that although Michael couldn’t forgive her now, he thought he’d be able to soon. So much for consequences for Carly’s lies.
Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) was surprised when Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) told him that he promised to give Ava (Maura West) Spoon Island and Wyndemere in the divorce. When Nikolas protested, Victor threatened him and then handed him divorce papers giving in to Ava’s demands.
Ava decided to randomly show up at the hospital and talk to Austin (Roger Howarth) about her hook wound, and the two ended up flirting with one another as they discussed their broken hearts and bad breakups. Later, Austin was surprised to see Mason in his office talking about becoming friends with Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) daughter, Georgie. When he lunged for Austin, a shocked Ava walked into the room.
Finally, Marshall (Robert Gossett) lost it on Portia (Brook Kerr) when she insisted he gets tested to see if he really had schizophrenia. Curtis (Donnell Turner) interrupted the argument, and Portia admitted what they had been talking about. As Portia and Curtis questioned him, Marshall confessed that if he learned he was misdiagnosed all those years ago and missed seeing his kids grow up, then he’d feel like an entire lifetime was wasted, and that was too much for him to bear.
