Raise the ‘Curtan’? How Fans REALLY Feel About Curtis And Jordan on General Hospital (GH)!

General Hospital’s (GH) Jordan and Curtis have a rocky history, going all the way back to their undercover days with the Drug Enforcement Administration – and the fact that she cheated on his brother.

Not that Curtis (Donnell Turner) is a saint himself. He’s done some pretty shady things for some pretty shady people. So are Curtis and Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) a match made in Heaven? Over 14,000 fans passed judgment on their relationship.

Pretty Is as Pretty Does
Jordan and Curtis work as a couple, concur 71% of you. He’s a great sounding board for her, he understands her professional position the same way that she understands his, and they both love TJ (Tequan Richmond), that much is undeniable.

And then there’s the fact that neither one has exactly set the world on fire with other romantic partners. Curtis and Valerie (Brytni Sarpy) went exactly nowhere. And Jordan and Shawn (Sean Blakemore) were ultimately a fizzle… despite the whole illegitimate TJ thing. Let’s not even discuss Jordan and Andre.

Curtis showed some sparks with Ava (Maura West) – who doesn’t spark with Ava? – when they talked art, but the show preferred to mess up her face, instead.

So Curtis and Jordan, it is! Let no one say they aren’t pretty together!

Pretty, yes, agrees 28% of the audience, but interesting? Watchable? Rootable? That would be a no. Plus, you can’t shake the feeling that Curtis and Jordan are a default couple. They’re the main characters of color on the canvas so, yeah, sure, throw them together, why not?

How about because the pair appear to be sleepwalking through their alleged romance, as bored as you are? Their conflict comes down to a buttinsky Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson). That’s not exactly the high drama accorded other couples.

If GH wants you to care about Curtis and Jordan, their story better pick up some steam heat – soon!
