General Hospital’s Kim and Julian started off promisingly. She was a level-headed doctor who’d raised a son all on her own after his dad fell off the face of the earth, while he was an ex-mobster running a pub where the food is so good, even people who claim to hate him insist on coming by.
They went camping, offered each other shoulders to cry on, and generated a decent amount of chemistry. But then, Kim’s (Tamra Braun) son, Oscar (Garren Stitt), died — very sad, we agree — and Kim became obsessed with having another baby to replace him.
Drew (Billy Miller) turned her down. Julian (William deVry) turned her down. Then, Kim drugged Drew to try to make a baby and Julian caught her. Julian says he forgives her but does he really? Is there anything left in the “Jim” relationship? What almost 6,000 fans had to say:
Nowhere Man
Almost two-thirds of the audience, 71%, think this pairing has had it. There’s nothing to keep them together — aside from good looks. Kim is spiraling, and Julian can’t help her. She has every right to feel the way she feels, but that’s not what Julian signed up for. He’s not the most sensitive guy in the world, and he really doesn’t know how to deal with the situation.
It would be one thing if this were a long-standing couple. Then you’d want them to fight for their relationship. But this was a casual hook-up, a friends-with-benefits sort of thing. And now it’s cover. No great loss.
Sanity Sex
On the other hand, 29% of you are still behind this couple. Sure, they were only casual before, but that doesn’t mean their relationship can’t evolve. Julian has tried to support and understand Kim the best he can.
That’s a good quality in a man. Sure, he used to be a killer — more recently than he and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) would like to remember. But he can change. And he seemingly has. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
