No one would ever accuse General Hospital’s (GH) Carly of being sane… and we’re not even talking about when she was still Sarah Brown and was actually committed for shooting Tony.
We mean her more current, Laura Wright-played actions. Some of them. Any of them. All of them.
However, like much of the audience, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is also obviously tired of Carly acting cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs – and nobody calling her on it. (OK, OK, there’s also the whole Carly doesn’t want Michael to be with Nelle motive).
So, Nelle decided to prove how really nuts Carly is to the world. Which called for phone calls and bloody shirts and disappearing ink, all meant to make Carly think Morgan is still alive and/or haunting her (which would make him dead).
But, is the entire gaslighting plot getting pretty tedious? Over 5000 fans offered their opinions:
Stop, In the Name Of Love
Enough, 95% of you are begging. Give it a rest. Obviously, Carly isn’t going to get any crazier than she already is, so Nelle is wasting her time. She should, instead, focus on winning back Michael (Chad Duell), marrying him, and living happily ever after, baby makes three.
No gaslighting would drive Carly any crazier than that. And then you’d be spared having to watch this nonsense!
OK, maybe you also like Carly and feel sympathy for her since this time she isn’t crazy or imagining things.
Keep It Coming
Carly deserves all this and more, a tiny, minority 4% of you cheer. There is nothing more satisfying than watching that screechy witch suffer especially after the way she’s treated Nelle.
Plus, if she’s distracted by Nelle, Carly will keep her nose out of Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) love life, stop telling Jason (Steve Burton) what to do, and maybe pay a little more attention to Joss (Eden McCoy) who is turning into a chip off the old Carly.
